I think 36 mins is enough during the regular season for Harden

And why should he compromise touches when he is by far the best offensive option on this team?

He scores the ball really efficiently. If only he can stop jacking up 3's when his shot is not falling.

Compromise for the good of the team? We are 16-9, stop trying to act like you actually give a damn about the rockets.

This attitude of being so elated about 16-9 that there needs to be no improvement -- as I called it before . . . second rate team. I won't actually repeat what I called Houston fans, as it's still early in the day.

I feel like Harden jacks up shots in the game when he's tired, especially in the 4th quarter. There's definetly a lot of clues that Harden is being over used. His lackadasial defensive efforts. Jacking up 3-point shots in iso late into the game instead of driving.

It's not that he should "comproise touches", but he should share some of the load of running the offense if it's too much for him. I would agree that 36 minutes a game would be a good starting point.

I think he should compromise his touches somewhat to diversify the offense and get others involved sometimes. One of his offensive flaws as a player is sometimes he is a ball stopper. His good quality is sometimes he isn't. If he has less touches he has more energy for other aspects of the game like defense and team defense. I'm not saying a lot less, but sometimes less. It all depends on how he's playing, sometimes he is fine.

Yeah the mods need to step up and eliminate these LOF pests who have nothing to contribute and are not here to talk any basketball.

A few LOF's actually know about the game and even though they are obnoxious, they can get a pass.

Yes, like you said, he ends up jacking shots when he is tired. 40 mins a night is too may. 36 min vs 40 min may not seem a big difference but those extra 4 mins of rest can have a huge impact on energy levels and mental alertness to make the right play.

He should be capped at 36 min during the regular season and around 40 come playoff time but of course you ride your stars for as long as you can post season

Rockets would be fine with Harden playing 32 mins a game. Brooks and Lin can fill in without losing too much, and Harden would have more energy to play defense.

Harden and McHale would never go for it though.

Again, it is very rare to find the star and best player on any NBA team being limited to 32 minutes unless it's a blow out. They guy is 24 and still young.

32 is too few and 40 is too many.

Given who we have at pg and pf compared to the rest of the league? I am optimistic with the way we are playing right now.

If you knew my entire post history, you would know that I was a member in good standing for a long time. It's only recent that I decided to take your LOF label to heart, and decided to be proud to be one.

I've gotta say -- I'm not proud of being such a aHole around here. But at least I know I'm being one. Let me ask you an honest question. Are you proud of how this board treats fans that like Lin? (if your anwer is because of the behavior of the "LOF" and so it is justifiable, then I should be able to use similar reasoning -- isn't that only fair?).

Why should we treat player only fans with respect when all they do is crap on our forum with their player worshiping? This is a TEAM BBS and not a LIN BBS. Guy has his own forum for people like you. If you want to act like an *******, that's fine and you will eventually be banned. You are just making all the r****ded Lin fans look even worse and giving them an even worse rep than the r****ded elements have already done. So no... LOF's are not going to be treated better and no, they don't deserve to be treated better, until they take their LOF sentiments and stick it where the sun don't shine on this BBS.

Chicago will take him if Rose is out for a long while. NY will give him Linsanity II as Felton plays like garbage now. Detroit will love a penetrating pg who is willing to dish out for their bigs and shooters. Add on that the Hawks, the Bucks, Charlotte, Orlando, Boston etc. Who doesn't want to have Linsanity II? LOL.
