    Notice how all the posters who claim to have inside info in the past aren't claiming nothing now cuz there is no obvious front runner. Where are all their inside sources?? Cyberx? Hard to predict the not so obvious

    I keep tweaking my Asik-to-Boston projection. This is hopefully my final and official projection:

    Omer Asik to Boston;
    Spencer Hawes, a first round pick (from Boston), and a junk/filler player (Marshon Brooks, will likely be waived shortly thereafter) to Houston;
    Kris Humphries, Donatas Motiejunas, many (maybe all) of the odds and ends from the Thomas Robinson trade (second round picks and the rights to that Greek kid) to Philly.

    Houston waives Marshon Brooks and quickly signs the sharpshooting Troy Daniels to a team-friendly contract.

    I think that's the trade right there.

    Note that Hawes will be able to handle all of the minutes at PF and C not going to Dwight Howard and Terrence Jones. This moves Omri Casspi over to backup SF (from backup PF) and pushes Francisco Garcia out of the rotation completely.

    Projected eight man rotation:

    James Harden (36 minutes/game)
    Dwight Howard (36 min/g)
    Chandler Parsons (36 min/g)
    Terrence Jones (32 min/g)
    Patrick Beverley (30 min/g)
    Jeremy Lin (30 min/g)
    Spencer Hawes (28 min/g)
    Omri Casspi (12 min/g)

    Omer Asik to Philly for a 2014 first round pick and Spencer Hawes.

    or

    Omer Asik and D-Mo to Atlanta for Paul Millsap and a 2014 first round pick.

    Getting MKG before he possibly breaks out would be phenomenal

    Poor man's George?

    Do I get bonus points for making a correct prediction no one else has even mentioned? If so, I predict Jared Sullinger.

    I can picture the reports now, "Houston Rockets corner the market on talented players with back issues". lol

    If it’s not one of the 76ers, bobcats, hawks, celtics trades we have discussed then I putting my money on lakers/Gasol. Morey wanted to trade for gasol before he can play 4&5 we can also go TT because he can stretch the floor just like hawes does but with more playoffs experience. LA wants him out & don’t have a PG, I’m sure mitch has called up morey for asik + lin. Kamen a backup center on a expiring contract is also complaining. Morey may not do it because it will make the lakers better, but like me, clutch and others have said morey may want to get rid of asik & lins contract to make an early run at free agency in 2014 vs waiting until 2015 summer for love LMA. So if someone is willing to take lins contract, he may hop on it now instead of waiting & risking and not having the cap room this summer if a STAR becomes available.

    houston out
    lin, asik, filler

    lakers out
    PICK
    gasol "expiring contract"
    chris kamen "expiring contract"
    xavier henry or famers "vet min expiring contract"

    Add Hinrich to #3 above, a smaller expiring contract.

    Phoenix Suns:

    Out: Asik, Suns are ahead of rebuilding schedule, it seems

    In: Channing Frye as a stopgap stretch 4 and draft picks (the Suns have a quite a few picks in their stash)
