    It doesn't have anything to do with lack of interest from the WC teams.

    You can bet that when, say, OKC or Phoenix or Portland or (insert rest of WC teams here) called, Morey said, "Thanks for calling. Since I don't want to help you hurt my team's chances in the playoffs, I'm gonna have to say.... **** off."

    a person who knew a person who was the godfather of an insider tells us that there is speculation that Morey may consider thinking about considering a trade of center Omer Asik with other NBA teams, sources say.

    I know alot of us want Rondo but dont the Rockets need another backup C when Dwight comes off the floor ?

    This is not what Morey is doing.
    Since we are going to trade by Dec 19th, every player in the deal will be eligible to be traded again this season. Lets say a team like Dallas or OKC has this phenomenal offer for Asik (let's go outrageous and say Ibaka + Lamb), a team that acquires him now (Cleveland or Philly) could flip him at the trade deadline and get the same deal (presumably, in this example), leaving the other team involved with the best deal and Asik still in the West come playoff time.

    I'm going to go with Clutch and guessing it will be the Bobcats. It seems the most talked about scenarios never happen with Morey.

    though Rondo has never been a good 3 point shooter, it's important to note that he was shooting above league average from midrange before his injury (a sign of improved shooting)
