Omer Asik Trade. Rumors, Tweets and Updates. (Deadline Dec 20th)

Rajon Rondo might be a net negative player on offense. Look how poor Boston did on that end for years, and that's with 3 Hall of Famers. Specifically to our team, I don't think the Rockets offensive scheme would work with a PG who can't shoot the 3.

 

I don't trust that Dave Hardisty guy. Didn't he knock up Sweet Suzy?

 

The difference is CP3 is a good 3 point shooter while rondo is a piss poor shooter

The Rockets need a player like Bibby or Billups in their prime. A floor general that can hit a spot up 3.

 

You can not get along off the court and still have great on-court chemistry.

Chemistry is talking about within the confines of a basketball game.

 

I'm just saying I think they would ask Harden to defer to Rondo/CP3/other elite PG when it comes to ball-handling/facilitating duties.

 

Why, Rondo would be a godsend for Dwight.

Genius moves by morey. Sign them to put trust in them for long term but try to dump them after 1 season. Next victim is jeremy lin. And everyone is hating asik and lin for their contracts when the blame should be on the one who signed them in the first place!

 

Asik and Lin are still rockets as of right now...

 

I think it's going to be a three team deal; Rockets, Celtics, and Sixers. I think Omer's going to the Sixers.

I hope the Rockets do not take any 2 year deals in return. Hawes would be ideal since his is an expiring contract. Need to sign Parons to an extension this Summer. As for Lin, if the team can get a true PG then I am ok with that if not why make a deal.

What in the world? And you've been here since 06? Thad's a 3. T Jones and Monty are current Rocket, not an ex. And neither are undersized. Quitten was a 3 and played on the Rockets a million years ago. Jordan Hill wasn't undersized at the 4. Hayes played mostly 5. Weatherspoon played all of 40 games nearly a decade ago. It became obvious Asik couldn't coexist with Dwight on the court and didn't want to be a backup. Nobody is hating Lin's or Asik for their contracts.

Not the best post I've ever read in the GARM, that's for sure.
