    I've noticed, thanks for the effort. By the way, to all voters who would like to edit their earlier votes, do feel free to do so, as I would recount everything from the start to determine the winner in 5 days.

    By the way, regarding these very respectable non-senior members, let's put it this way, I have as much respect for them as the senior members, so I would hope that not including them in this event would motivate them to post more. Personally I would love to have guys like Doc Rocket to post another 200 posts over the next 5 days (to become a "senior member") and qualify for the event ;) I'm sure everyone would be as happy as I'm to read everyone of his new posts :) How's that Doc?

    To verse and other posters who stated "no particular order" in their posts, I know it's often hard to choose and rank them, but this would make things difficult for the count. It's fine if you would like them to be considered as "honorable mentions" or I'm afraid you probably have to edit your post and rank them in certain order.

    I have a suggestion about this kind of vote. Let's make it more formal. Make it an annual event for the BBS, maybe right after the season ends.

    Set up several catagories: ROY, MVP, MRP (Most Respectable Poster), FPOY (Funniest Poster of the Year), BTS (Best Talent Scout), MOC (Member on Crack; isn't it time to take that distinguished title from The Cat and give it to someone more deserving?), etc., etc.

    We can start off with a thread like this one to gather informal nominations. But let the Crew or Clutch himself make the final nominee rosters. Put them into polls and we all vote for them. No hacking please. ;)

    The winners get to have their titles under their username for a year. Also, create a sticky all-star thread. Only the winners are allowed to post in it. They can talk about anything they want. It will sure be very entertaining to us.

    What do you think?

    Here’s my list of posters. There are others but these are the ones that really stand out to me.

    1. Jeff – Never seen him get too rattled at other posters like most of us from time to time. I am also thankful for Save our Rockets.
    2. Clutch – With out him clutchcity would not exist.
    3. BobFinn* - very knowledgeable about NBA history. I have the feeling that he actually may have watched a few Celtic games when Bill Russell was still playing.
    4. NIKEstrad and TheCat – Because I almost always agree with their point of view on the Rockets.
    5. Pops & Doc – Insiders with info!
    6. Rocket Rich NY – He seems to be on the inner circle with some of the players. Always seems to have accurate info on the players.
    7. Heypartner – Psycho poster with split personalities :p but he has great knowledge of X’s and O’s. It is not advisable to get into a debate with him unless you are 100% sure about your facts because HP is usually not off with his.
    8. Aelliott & Gator – It’s good to have cap experts on the board
    9. Dr of Dunk – The hardest working man on the bbs, he keeps it clean and in order.
    10. SmeggySmeg – He has got to be the only person to ever travel from Australia on his honeymoon to see the Rockets.
    11. RockHEAD – everybody’s favorite stalker.

    This is done semi-annually (or so it seems) in the Hangout Forum. However, it's not a contest strictly for the GARM Forum, though.

    or anti-"hey" for that matter. I mean; who doesn't pee and who doesn't say "Hey!"

    so, just for comparison, a lot of people are anti-Smeggma...and many, many are anti-Clutch chokers...like Karl Malone for instance. what about the anti-easy people. anti-crash. anti-sane. or the anti-theSYS of the thread starter.

    Gotta give credit where it's due. The hardest working guy on this BBS is Clutch... bar none. All I do is run around closing stupid/duplicate threads and moderate the chat. That's nothing compared to the stuff he's done to keep this up and running. Not to mention he's got a family and financially supported this thing for so long...

    So I guess, thanks for the praise, but I'm not the one you should be giving it to. :)
