Asik is not much of an issue anymore I think. The problem with Garcia and Casspi actually is the rotation. Because the Cavs do not use a second unit, but plays the bench together with some starters, the bench players take less shots. The ball is handed mostly to Harden to decide in what mood he appears to be. Garcia and Casspi play just about the same amount of minutes per game, but Garcia takes 1.5 time more 3pt shots compared to Casspi. Proportionally Casspi makes less 3pt attempts than Harden normalized to time, Garcia makes more. However, both make approximately 60-70% of Hardens attempts normalized to PT.
Garcia is more of a spot up shooting than Delfino. Lin's assist to Garcia seems to be making more, but Lin has been gone for awhile.
Thought Garcia was our most balanced player, but he's struggling offensively and on defense. Hopefully he'll start hitting 3s at a greater % than his career average to maintain the average. He couldn't have lost much foot speed on defense in one offseason after playing KD the way he did. This team is struggling in many ways.
Between shooting bricks and committing stupid fouls, Cisco has been worthless. If the Rockets get two rotation players in return for Asik, Cisco should be the first man out.
Really missed Francisco's buckets tonight. We needed the 3 ball to fall badly. The King fans gave Casspi and Francisco cheers though when they checked into the game.
When did I say Garcia can "save us"? Just want him to match his career production. Dude is shooting 0.045% below his career FG, <35% 3's, and 70% FTs. He's not even making FTs. Defense is nowhere near last playoffs.
Nah, a veteran is supposed to 'save the team' by keeping the energy level at a high constantly. He is clearly neither leading by example nor leading by command.
Exactly As much as I hate to say it, whenever I see Fisher come into the game for OKC, the dude ALWAYS finds a way to contribute. Although he can still shoot, the dude focuses on managing the 2nd unit and holding fort until KD/WB return. The end result is rarely reflected in the scoreboard, but is definitely a net positive.
Smoking tobacco through water does not filter out cancer-causing chemicals. Water-filtered smoke can damage the lungs and heart as much as cigarette smoke. http://www.health.umd.edu/sites/default/files/Hookah Brochure- Final_0.pdf I don't know what Harden is smokin (or if that's even him blowing it out), but these are basketball players who make their living off of having healthy lungs. LeBron won 2 championships and you don't see him smoking.
Casspi, not Garcia, was acquired to replace Delfino. If Garcia continues to struggle, Brewer might get some PT.
You might need to give up on Brewer. His shooting is suspect. When he was a sophomore with the Jazz he was pretty athletic going to the rim but nowadays he got fatter and can't really finish.
