confused here. Are you saying that Jeremy sit out today is due to his knee not his back? Jason and Feign all refer to his sit out as his back problem though.

I don't think we are talking about limited minutes in two previous games here, this thread was talking about his not available to this game and potential Wednesday game. Unless you consider him sit out as some kind of "limited minutes"?

 

What will be your excuse when Lin remains on the Rockets roster after December 19th? :grin:

Clutch is saying Jeremy felt ready to play 48 minutes based on the condition of his knee. But his injury tonight was his back, a brand-new factor.

uh, I didn't say nothing. But it is confusing though. I'm not sure how bad it is that he is not even day to day, but will miss Wednesday game even. I mean that must be pretty bad.....

I know Parsons has pretty bad back problem, but he is always go with day to day.....

 

Have you considered the possibility that the back didn't start spasms until later?

Back spasms aren't like breaking a bone. Often they are caused by blood accumulation due to muscle bruising after an impact.

It's quite possible at the point of interview that Lin's back felt fine, but started undergoing spasms significantly later.

However, that interview was after his GSW game though, and wouldn't he was already hurt pretty bad at that time? According to Jason, it gets pretty bad during half time ......

It is also curious both Asik and Lin are both not on the bench tonight.

Are people just naive to think no trade is going on?

 

Harden ankle's hurt = Harden is nursing a sprain
Parson's back hurts = Parson's got back issues
Lin's Back/Knee hurts = Lin is being traded!

(sheesh- so many on here hold J Lin to a different standard with their negativity)

 

Thanks. It showed. Apparently his back limited his effectiveness as well. The team needs Harden or Lin on Wednesday. If they both can't go they can't go. I guess then Parsons will facilitate and Bev will do the best he can at it backed up by Brooks mostly facilitating the 2nd unit. But hopefully, one or both can go, if for very limited minutes.

 

Lin might be frustrated with the so called demotion but to his credit unlike Asik he has been a good soldier boy and kept his feelings out of the public arena.

 

Lin was in the back getting treatment. Feigen also noted that Lin didn't pack assuming he'd be injured as he was expecting to play.

Since the CBA requires players to wear a suit when sitting at a game and NOT on the roster, it tends to imply that Lin didn't bring a suit and thus didn't have appropriate attire to sit in the audience.

As for Asik, he might have been getting treatment for his knee. Or he might have been with held since it's well known that he's being traded in the next 3-4 days.

 

Lin has had two games back after injury and already he's untradeable after being one of our best performers for the majority of the season so far.

ok, can you clarify if the team report him as out due to injury or not? If not, why can't he sit on the bench with uniform?
