I thought this offense doesn't need a point guard? So now they need a point guard? I don't get it.

Maybe Rondo could solve the PG problem because he is an all-star PG and hope Harden would be OK to let Rondo have the ball all the time?

I agree that he has to play 3rd, 4th or even 5th fiddle at times but that's where I do call out Mchale. He is so stubborn not to move Lin back and admit he was wrong. And he's not doing his job as coach if he can't tell Harden to let Lin take over at times. Harden CAN play 2nd or 3rd option. He just doesn't want to and McHale just coddles his superstar. It's pathetic. I love Harden but dude needs to grow up and share the ball more. In OKC, he was the 2nd or 3rd option in all but a few minutes of each game and he did fine. Here, he can be the man for 25-30 min a game and defer to Jeremy a little for the rest. McHale needs to man up and let the team know who's coach.

Uh, Harden is a FAR superior play maker to Parsons and we saw what happened when Parsons + Lin was off the floor to create floor spacing.

Parsons without Harden or Lin on the floor will get destroyed by double teams if he's the focal point of our offense.

lol. Harden is going to play second fiddle to Rondo? Okay.

Harden wants to be a point guard period. He probably wishes he could play like Chris Paul.

So what stupid teams out there would get rid a pg with better stat this season than Lin and willing to take on 15 million next year in return?

This last page is embarrassing how many people are cheering for Lin to get traded so he can start. Want whats best for the team or get the hell off of this board. jeremylin.net is waiting for you.

I would be even more disgusted if Harden ended up doing that. Basically saying I'm willing to give up the ball to you Rondo but not Lin (even though Lin's stats show that he is more than capable).

If that happens and Harden does change his game after Lin is traded, I will burn all 3 of my Harden jerseys in disgust.

After all, is that the kind of guy you really want leading the Rockets?

What are you talking about? We're talking in the context of you need another PG/playmaker/scorer to back up Harden's contribution, when he's off the court or injured. That is what Lin is currently.

This is the main reason why I want Lin to stay a Rocket and embrace his role like he's been. Lin stays a rocket so his crazy fans will have to like the team. Hahaha

Personally, I don't want to see Lin traded. I don't even want to see Asik traded, but he's insisting.

Love Parsons, he'll only get better too. I don't know if he can be the play maker that people hope that he can try to become though. Parsons that is.

I'm sorry. How is holding the ball 18 to 19 seconds and then dish it out with less than 3 seconds to go a play? Look good for Harden if the received such as Parson or Lin scored, Harden will get an assist. If they missed, oh well, the miss is on Harden.

I think it's sad that so many people want Lin traded. I can see trading Asik, a guy who bemoaned his benching and when playing has been putting up minimal effort. But Lin, who has arguably been playing the most consistent ball of his career so far and continues to get better each season and who is a good guy who contributes and gives 100% whether or not he is starting or coming off the bench or playing 30 min or 10 min, has a ton of "Rocket's fans" wanting to boot him from this team. You guys are haters, not real Rocket's fans. If you are a real Rocket's fan, you want to keep your good players, not trade them.

Hehe, don't joke around. Judging by the standard of this board, I know clutchfans and Houston want Jeremy gone. His fans also want him out of Houston, yet Les is so stubborn. Les should do everyone a favor and trade Jeremy Lin already.

But if LIN were given the ball....LIN, mind you....he would be our savior.

    Right?

    Right?

He doesn't *always* do that. He tends to do that too much at the end of quarters and end of games. Outside of that he drives to the basket, dishes, runs PnR's, and does general passing.

Parsons is a good passer, but doesn't have anywhere near Harden's or Lin's driving game, and isn't nearly as good in creating isolation buckets.

Essentially what an opposing team will do is put their best wing defender on Parsons, or double team Parsons and force the rest of the team to score and facilitate plays. And after Parsons there just isn't a lot in the well.

    Casspi? Brooks? Garcia? Beverley?

If that's who you're counting to carry the team with Parsons mostly neutralized by strong wing defenders and double teams, the Rockets are going to be in trouble against any team that's not a bottom dweller.

You have absolutely ZERO proof that anybody other than his "special" fans want him out of Houston.

If you check the ones saying it here, you will find most of them to be his fans who want him gone because we dont use him in that special way that unleashes LINSANITY. So since we are wasting his superstar talent, they want him gone from here.

    That is a fact.

On top of that, this board has thousands and thousands of members, adn the Rockets have a million people in Houston that dont care one way or the other about the little b****ing that goes on in this forum.

Its HIGHLY presumptuous on your part to assume that a few people on a online forum speak for the entire Rockets fanbase.

Speaking for myself....if he can contribute on the floor, which he has shown he can, then there is NO WAY IN HELL I want him traded just cause of you nutbags in here. I dont care about your opinions nor do I care about your feeble childish internet pissing wars....Jeremy Lin is a productive member of the Houston Rockets and he will remain one until he is of no use to the team any longer.
