it's been mentioned again and again, not just on these boards but even by analysts and commentators, good coaches do not allow their teams to lose to bad teams...

He looked disinterested. Guys jumpin over him for tip in's, not boxing out or fighting for rebounds. On offense he was looking to dish as soon as the ball touched his hands. I hope Morey brings in a hype man. We need some fire

Another infuriating loss to another bad team. These losses are adding up, and if the team doesn't turn these types of games around soon, it'll cost them at the end of the season.

I just don't get why Sampson even let Harden back in. It was obvious he was limping. This game was lost due to multiple reasons. Bad defense, horrible freethrow shooting, sloppy turnovers, bad 3 point shooting, on and on. Maybe Harden wanted back in, and maybe Sampson wanted him back in, maybe a little bit of both. But why risk your team's main star after he hurt himself??

Rockets have an underlying problem of losing to all the bottom feeders but beating all the playoff teams. It is anybody's guess as to why that is happening, but that should bode well in the playoffs when we play, well, only playoff teams.

    could also add:

    <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/HtOwNzOuTLaW713">@HtOwNzOuTLaW713</a> Injuries, Harden's ankle, player Rotation, no head coach, turnovers, free throws &amp; Asik.</p>&mdash; Issac Haasmann (@IzakDavid13) <a href="https://twitter.com/IzakDavid13/statuses/412394051720056832">December 16, 2013</a></blockquote>

I know it's a business, and all the rest, but players are not robots…they know someone is going to be gone with Asik in a few days, that can't be good for locker room atmosphere. I can't believe that the Big Turk has become 'The Big Jerk' & quit on us McGrady style.

The only player that played decently was Harden. Of course he got injured and was dog **** afterwards, but at least he tried. This seems to be a common theme. We play on the road against a ****ty team, Harden plays decently and gets big numbers, but the rest of the team seems disinterested and doesn't care.

I liked watching Sacramento played. I didn't hardly recognize Rudy Gay as he played team ball most of the game. Cousins played well and didn't lose his head, love Thomas's game, that's the type of point play I like. They have their own beard who played well. They moved the ball around some, their offense looked decent. They may not win too many games but they don't look like a bunch of amateurs either.

I've been on this board for about six years and I have fewer than half the amount of posts you do in a few months. I'm not here to troll anyone

Whenever your best player consistantly lacks defensive effort, they're a poor leader.

It's because when they are focused and have a want to compete, they can be dangerous.

But when they play bad teams, they don't give the same effort, and they play down to their level and sometimes end up losing when their shot isn't falling.

Lack of effort + shot not falling = sure loss.

The 09 rockets would have whipped this team so bad and showed them how it's done.
