Nets won't trade DWill right now. He's come back, they're getting healthy and looking a lot better.

That risk may not be worth the reward... If Morey wants to upgrade the point guard position he would be better off going after Bledsoe, Goran, Jarrett Jack, or Kyle... Or even Ty Lawson or Isaiah Thomas. D-Will is like $10 million overpaid.

Not anymore. DWill has weight issues, he's lost all his speed, and those new cameras they have installed will MURDER his value lol. He'll be like Raymond Felton with court vision. His shot somehow stopped falling.

Deron Williams is untradeable right now at his contract. New Jersey will just have to live and die by him. Good for them.

I like Lin and Omer, if they both get traded, I would love to see them sent together.
I think they could be a beneficial pairing for some teams, who are vulnerable at the PG and C position.

I don't see the reasoning in actively trading Lin. I do see a reason to trade him if you have an amazing offer you can't refuse but to be actively looking to trade him doesn't make sense. He's had a fantastic start to the season minus the injury and the last two games he's been back. So because of those two games and an injury we now want to move him? Also, the poison pill contract is something we put together in order to prevent other teams from signing him, but we however were willing to swallow that if he performed and so far this year he's performed. We will see I guess. I could also see him going if it's the deal breaker to an Asik deal.

The team is building around Harden and Dwight.

Any players that can cover for Harden and Dwight's weakness are treasured.

Any players that can't cover for Harden and Dwight's weakness, or complement them, will be dealt away.

Parsons' fate will depend on how Harden defends. If Harden still can't defend, a defensive wing (SF) who can shoot the 3 will be brought in to relieve Parsons.

Not so sure about that. Morey said he thought it was humorous that people tried to put CP3 and DWill on the same level.

That doesn't mean he doesn't think DWill has value, but it may not be as much as the rest of the league puts in him.

DWill may make sense for Houston but it does not make sense for Brooklyn to trade him right now. The Nets went all in on DWill-- not only gave him a huge contract, but took on expensive players to surround him while trading away picks. They should be sticking with it, hoping their fortune turn around with a healthy Deron at least for the next year or so before blowing things up. Too soon to give up right now.

As for Lin, the reason why his name is mentioned here is likely because Morey is talking about dozens of trade scenarios with multiple teams right now. There are almost inevitably some scenarios out of the many discussed where Lin's cap hit would be a part of the scenario either for talent or for cap purposes. The same can probably be said about many other Rockets players-- DMo, Casspi, Brewer, Jones, etc.

well, we could trade Lin for Steve Blake (getting alot of assists this year and great at shooting corner 3's) and Jordan Hill (who is coming around and rebounding well). If need be, we just throw in a draft pick and we are set

Parson's fate will depend on whether or not we can trade for Lebron. That is all. If we can't get Lebron for him, he's staying. If we can get Lebron for him he's going. Now take a wild guess where Parsons is going to be playing ball after the trade deadline.

    Agreed.

The Nets tied their bandwagon to Deron and they're not going to pull the plug in the first season after giving him a monster contract. They'll give him a couple seasons before they even remotely think of pulling the plug.

And Morey is infamous for having 100 or more trade scenario's floating around at any given time. It's a given that some will involve Lin, Parsons and everyone else on the roster not named Dwight or Harden.

funny when someone writes a keep lin, he is as efficient as harden, the writer gets ridiculed for wanting hits. But if a writer comes up with a piece that goes with the agenda being manifested, like getting rid of lin, the idea of wanting hits does not cross their minds.

I believe anything done on lin is for hits.

I think it's funny that both times there has been any rumors that Lin would be traded this season, it's come from New York. The first time was from Frank Isola at NYDN speculating that Rondo could be traded for Asik and Lin. Now Alan Hahn who works for MSG is speculating that Lin could be traded. The Isola thing blowing up all over the media wasn't even a major thing. It just came from a tweet saying that he wouldn't be surprised. He hadn't even heard anything and was just tweeting an idea that blew up all over the media. And I don't think Alan Hahn is over Lin being let go. He wanted the Knicks to keep Lin even with the poison pill contract and he's said it a few times on Twitter throughout last season that he thought the Knicks should have kept Lin and just dealt with the last season of the deal when the time came.

This is just a broken record being played one more time.

If I could get a superstar and a good role player for trading Lin and Asik I would do it in a heart beat. I like both guys but if you want to win the Championship it will be done when the opportunity presents itself.

I don't think the question is if Houston wants to trade Lin and/or Asik. The real question is who wants Lin and/or Asik and give us what we want?

Well, Lin is being held out of the game today (Friedman claiming back spasms).

Take that for what you will.

That doesn't really mean Morey thinks Williams isn't good, he says that Chris Paul is the best PG of all time.

Actually LOF's are the ones who want him gone.

They would rather Jeremy be concertmaster on a 35-win team than second fiddle to a championship contender. Disgusting.

Am I the only one who was pleased with how Lin was playing before he got hurt. Infact in done games we lost I felt like we were missing lins 15-20 point games. Overpriced contract for sure but I really feel it would sort of be a mistake on rockets part. They have chemistry and stuff why break it up. If Lin is traded for a potential superstar then go ahead But for some crumy player eh..
