Any one of those Guys will do.... And i really think it would be the latter, he could be the final piece to the puzzle if we gel quick.

 

btw does paul millsap usually play defense like he doesn't want to get hurt? against the knicks, he was literally just backing up (not getting pushed, but actually just backing up) and letting melo and stat lay it in

Generally speaking his overall defense is pretty good though.

 

I think you might be right. Morey will try to move him again by the February deadline when there is a better chance of getting a decent deal.

There`s a lot of PHILLY trade ideas flying around and a lot of people talking about Asik going to PHILLY, which makes me think he`s not. I have absolutely NO IDEA where he`s going. I guess that`s why this anticipation is killing me!

 

Asik will be traded 1 hour before the Sac game.

I wouldn't call this pushed around, it was more like i walk towards you and you just walk backwards 2 feet in front of me til i decide to stop.

I was thinking it would be a Varejao/Waiters swap for some time - but right now I really feel about us going for Rondo. We try to add a 3d star - LMA and Love are both pretty unattainable, Melo would be very expensive and a risk, because he could leave in half a season. Now Rondo is still on the books throughout next season and doesn`t even get max money.

I know there are questions about how he could play with Harden and people are questioning how he would fit, because he doesn`t have much range. We definetly would have the change the system some. I don`t think his lacking range would be that big a problem - if defenders play off him, he would just take it to the hoop and find an open man or finish himself. And his toughness and playoff experience could really help us.

Also, there has been talk about us trading Lin - Asik/Lin for Rondo and perhaps Green (we would have to include at least a first rounder and maybe one of our talents in Europe) would really help us. And Boston would add major pieces for a rebuild (Lin could be their marketing star, Asik their big man of the future, a future first and maybe LLul could further help their rebuild effort).

Also, I feel like Rondo is the only star we could get without having to give up Parsons. And he was just cleared for full contact practise - great timing.

So right now my money goes to Rondo...
