Missed that one. Between him and Dalembert, I could see a great fit. But at what cost?

Not convinced that Dirk won't leave them for nothing in the summer, and Cuban is a lot of talk.

Why would Boston go into rebuilding mode to build "around Rondo" to only trade him for Asik and Lin? I think some fans here need to be realistic.

Why would Boston want to build around Rondo in the first place?

Why not, the guy is probably the second best playmaker in the nba when healthy. He is a terrific defender with great hands and one of the best rebounding PG's in a log while.

The Suns are hard to read on the direction their front office wants to take. They're not good enough for 4th seed.

They've got future stars in Bledsoe who's 24 & Len who's 20 but considered years away. It could be argued Bledsoe is a star now. Take him out & the Suns aren't winning their games.

The Morris twins are 24. While Plumlee is 25.

Their core group right now is old for a team seemingly built for the future:
    Dragic 27, Tucker 28, & Frye 30.

Guards & wings tend to have shorter shelf lives than bigs with their production dropping off when they hit 30.

Do they think they can win with this group for the next 3 years, then find new pices again or are they happy just to be a first round playoff team?

    * has to have ball in his hands 80% of time to be so called great playmaker (horrible fit next to harden)
    * below avg 3pt shooter( horrible fit for team)
*overrated on def. hes a gambler, just because he piles up steals does not make him a good defender. Thats like saying allen iverson was a good defender, hes not far behind harden in start blow bys
*his assist numbers are hollow, he passes up layup for mid range jumpshots just to get assist
*bottom line hes one of most overrated players in the league, hes not a morey type of player his adv. stats are below avg

I hope Morey doesn't involve Jones in any of the trade

An hour and 23 minutes into December 15 and we haven't traded this fool yet? Morey must be lazy. Fire him now, Les.

so he doesnt shoot layups but instead shoots jumpshots ..he is not getting any assists when he is shooting jumpshots or getting layups, assists come when he doesnt do any of that.

also he seemed to have played well with garnett and pierce, two guys who require a lot of touches

no what i mean is he passes up the chances for him to shoot high percentage shots in the paint to instead kick it out to his teammates for 20 ft jump shots so he can pile up assist. Neither garnett or pierce are ball controlling guards the way harden is, both are catch and shoot players at that point in career.

The talk is Philadelphia is the front-runner in the Asik sweepstakes, with two of the Western Conference’s top teams — Oklahoma City and Portland — in the mix as well. While Asik would certainly help a lot of teams, acquiring him wouldn’t come without a cost. He is due to be paid $15 million next season. I think they are just like the Rockets of old just not as talented.
Their objective might just be making the playoffs and try to get out of the 1st round. But they need Bledsoe and Dragic to play at a high level.

No need to help them getting Asik.
