Matt Harpring is a punk for talking mess to Terry Porter after he bumped into him. The Jazz got lucky on this one because of that bad call on Bobby Jackson.
I hate the Kings, and wanted the Jazz to win. Why? Because they're the underdogs, they represent everything the Rockets are missing (basketball intelligence, passing motion offense, etc.), it's amazing to watch Stock and Malone play the way they do so late in their careers, etc. etc.
That officiating was AWFUL. The Kings didn't get a call all night. I hope Harpring gets fined for shoving Terry Porter... he could have avoided that. But in any case, I think the Jazz deserved to win after Greg Ostertag scored 22, got 12 rebounds, 5 blocks and 2 steals. If the Jazz don't win when Ostertag does that, something's very wrong. Also, it's hard to get worked up about bad officiating when the outcome of the series is a forgone conclusion... unlike series that are close... *cough* LA-Min. *cough* *cough*
i hate the jazz. they are full of punks, and john flopton was flopping away last night. they are disgusting to watch. moomoo, how can you root for the jazz? no rockets fan should root for the jazz in any matchup(except for the lakers, maybe). i take solice in the fact that malone and stockton will never get a ring.
Thank God for Jordan. I hate him, but at the very least he stopped the dirtiest duo in history from getting their rings. I have nightmares of a league where Jordan never came back from retirement and Malone and Stockton won the Championship those years.
