When the playoffs are over for the Bucks and Blazers they'll have to 'pick 'em': Mason or Redd. One is likely to go. My guess is Redd is trade bait. GP or Sammy. One might go. Or both. My guess is Sammy. For that matter, in Po'land, the Blazers will likely have to choose who to dump out of, Randolph or Patterson. Who would accept Ruben 'fist sandwich'? (He 'accepted Zach's, ouch, didn't he?!) I would like to see Redd head to H-town (if the price is right). I could see Sammy going to live the life of Riley, frustrating control freak Pat. I would not be shocked to see Paul Allen eat Patterson's contract.
Isn't Payton a free agent? So that takes care of who they'll probably keep there. As for the Mason/Redd thing, I think they'll actually keep Redd. He shows a lot of potential with his jumper.
LAfadeaway33 I bet Redd goes somewhere he can get more than the MLE. I THOUGHT HE SIGNED A LONG TERM DEAL LAST SUMMER. Isn't Payton a free agent? So that takes care of who they'll probably keep there. As for the Mason/Redd thing, I think they'll actually keep Redd. He shows a lot of potential with his jumper. GP IS A FA, BUT BUCKS COULD RESIGN HIM. IF NOT, I'D LIKE TO SEE A SnT TO ROX. KARL LIKES MASON'S D OVER REDD'S O, I'D THINK, AND BUCKS ARE WORRIED ABOUT LUX TAX (MASON IS 'CHEAPER').
Redd I believe signed a BYC contract--he would be very complicated to move. Payton, Cassell, Thomas or Mason are far more likely to move because of their contracts. Besides, Redd is OK, but so many people have him completely overrated. He is a very good spot shooter, but not much else (defense, other ways to hurt you). He makes a great back-up 2/3 or a average/poor starting 2.
Well...I think what sticks in Rockets fans' heads is that 9-threes display that Redd did against us last year.
