It's weird that this is the take when Harden had 9 assists, and the team was great when he was in, and terrible the 6 minutes he sat out.

He did say with Harden, it's make or break depends on if the shots fall. They fell in the 4th, but that doesn't mean he should play that way. We got a break because their backcourt under performed and were in foul trouble all night long, but if Harden keeps on playing the way he did, we will probably lose more games like this.

Not really the run in the 3rd quarter was generated by Harden creating wide open looks for Casspi, Garcia and Parsons. We went from being two up to 10 up in a space of a few minute after creating while being 5-18 from the field uptill that point. It was no his scoring but his passing.

Agreed with all of your points. Harden was gassed that's why his shot stop falling after the strong 1st quarter. But his playing making during that stretch and his elite scoring in the 4th ( That's what Superstar's Do) helped win us this game. Both him and Bev were very solid on both ends of the court.

He played almost the entire first half. It got to a point that even Hubie Brown commented how insane it is to play a guy 20 minutes in the first half after a tough physical back to back.

Yeah I heard when Hubie said that as well. Sampson should have played Brooks and sh** even Brewer. He also playing Parson too much as well. This cat is out there playing with a injured back and logging heavy minutes..Pimpn not good

Hyperbole much? I remember seeing him drive to rim and pick up fouls. And throw down a few sick dunks. And make some nice defensive plays. And stop shooting the 3 after he cooled off.

I'm not sure what you guys expect from this cat. I tell you what, I'm willing to loan some of my recordings of MJ Bulls games from the 90s. Watch some of those games in their entirety. I'm certain you can pick apart all the all ball hogging, volume shooting, bad team mate things Jordan did.

*note* Hyperbole in comparing Harden to Jordan was intentional. We can use Kobe or LaBron if you like.

It's pathetic seeing people still complain after Harden carried us to a win in GS (one of the toughest places to play) on a back to back. What a joke.

    Great win for us

Some of you are lucky that I'm not a mod, because if I were, I'd scroll through this thread after we pulled out a win on the road against an excellent team, and give everyone of you babbling your continual bull**** about Mr. Beverley and Mr. Lin, regardless of who you favor, a timeout for a month. No posting privileges, reading only. For a month. Perhaps then you might realize what absolute fools you all are.

I enjoy reading about the Rockets and the games they play, not some endless juvenile crap from fanboys who really could care less about the Rockets. A great win, and yet again it devolves into nonsensical endless babbling about Lin and Beverley. Some of you need to either grow up, or find another team's BBS to derail. This is way, way beyond tiresome.

    Co-sign. Win or lose, it's a Beverly/Lin cluster.

Let's talk about how Dwight really should be given more touches the way he's been playing. 7-7 from the line and a 3 pointer. Amazing.

Just finished re-watching the game for a 2nd time. Good win for the Rockets.

    A few observations...

    The officiating was Really awful.

At times they were whistle happy, calling the most ridiculous calls on both sides. Multiple times our players got hit with ticky tack fouls. 2 calls on Dwight for offensive fouls in 0:59s in the 3rd quarter that were nowhere near offensive fouls, fouls on Lin while he was defending including the "reach in", a couple foul calls on Beverley and Garcia. The same for the Warriors. Curry earned some of this fouls, but others should definitely have been no calls.

Then bizarrely mid-way through the game they decided to stop calling Fouls altogether. This mostly went in the Warriors favor. Lin drive and gets no call despite taking heavy contact. He gets whacked on the head creating a turn over, yet no call. That up and down call was really, really bad. There was clear hand on ball contact by the defender when viewed in slow motion. Dwight getting hacked on the inside yet no call. Parsons getting clobbered but no call. It was like it was open season on the Rockets in the 3rd quarter and part of the 4th quarter.

Beverley had a fantastic night despite the fouls. Beverley got over-aggressive a few times, but he ate at least 2 bad foul calls. Curry is definitely getting super star treatment when he's being defended. Defensively Beverley was very good, and was nice to see him have a good shooting night considering how he's been struggling to shoot the entire season.

Harden's played well defensively. However his choices offensively were bizarre. Multiple plays dribbling out the clock unnecessarily while everyone else is standing around.

Minutes distribution was better in that nobody was over 35 minutes... except for Harden who bizarrely played 42 minutes. Again.

Though why we're rolling with a 9 man roster again, I have no idea. Is Aaron brooks injured or something? I haven't seen him get a single minute over the last 2 games.

Still, a win is a win. Though really hard to say how much we can take from this game other than the Refs basically dictated the mood of the game. There was clearly frustration on both sides as they careened from calling everything to calling nothing to getting calls completely wrong in what seemed like an attempt to keep the scores close and the game competitive.

Does anyone have a highlight of Harden losing the ball while he was doing some fancy dribbling with no one close to him? Lol.

    I thought that was funny.
