1. Because they want to get Lin going 2. Because they want to get Lin going so he's ready for a trade
The Rox staff were able to incorporate AB into the line well during injury issues. I'm sure they could figure how to shift the lineup so AB is not on a much bigger player. Bottom line is AB can be a valuable offensive punch off the bench especially if one of the other perimeter bench players are struggling.
Talk about Lin not getting play time these few games....nothing for Brooks, Asik and his problem, and vanishing DMoe.
As good as Brooks is offensively he's nearly as terrible defensively. At least Lin has the size the play against PG's. Not entirely saying that he's laterally quick enough to keep up with them though.
I thought he could've played well against the Blazers considering it's his home area and he played college ball there. He still has a lot of fans in the NW area. He would've been highly motivated..
Aaron Brooks doesn't belong in the rotation of a playoff team. He's already starting to cool off, and can't do anything else if he isn't making 3's.
Aaron Brooks is the third string Point Guard. Now that Lin and Harden is back from injury he goes back to the bench. Both Beverley and Lin play before him with Lin picking up the spare minutes behind Beverley and Harden, there is no time left for Brooks.
I would like to see Lin take more of Harden's minutes at the 2 so James has some gas left at the end of the season. That would open up minutes for AB at the point guard spot.
Sampson has played some iffy lineups ... Brooks deserves PT. didnt like that we let him go to Suns and now he back and cant get consistent minutes
No idea why we're not seeing Brooks on the floor at all. It just seems really bizarre. Like against Portland they went with an 8 man rotation and played Beverley for 39 minutes. Lin was clearly out of form coming back from injury, yet we don't see Brooks on the floor for 1 minute? I suppose he could be in the dog house. Is there an injury?
