Warriors is going to be tough team to beat once Ig is back and healthy. If he shuts Harden down and TJones or Beverley can't step up big scoring it's going to be tough.

No one said they can't help, but this team and it's franchise players are young and it is built for a sustained period success. Those two don't fit the long term planning just like Gasol doesn't.

Any long term plans does include finding the right "veteran" fit....;)

The Rockets will be a tough to beat when Lin is back on track and we get something in return for Asik.

I feel like people don't realize that we literally haven't been playing with our full compliment of weapons basically the whole season. And that's on top of trying to integrate new pieces on the fly while dealing with these pesky injuries along the way.

We are going to be very dangerous by seasons end.

As role players sure, but not a key piece unless it is a Tony Parker.

That's the key for the Rockets team. If your best trio are Harden, Parsons, and Dwight...it's going to be a tough fight. You really need another solid player at the 4 spot that can defend well and able to score. If you don't it's that much harder going up against teams like Portland, SA, Heat, or Indiana.

He can easily play at this level for another 3 to 4 years.

Yoooooooooooo. I am so glad I came out here for this game. Got a lot of snarky comments from Dubs fans, but it was totally, totally, totally worth it.

    1. Oracle >>>>>>> Toyota Center. By a mile. Every single time the momentum started to swing their way, the crowd was on their feet and the place was rocking. I've seen TC close during the playoffs. Maybe. But damn, it would be nice if we had a home crowd like that on a regular basis.

    2. People really love to hate Dwight Howard. Lots of "Dwight is a biatch!", "I hate you, Dwight!", "Dwight Coward" yelling. So awesome to see him shut them up with his game.

    3. That Harden dunk, tho.

    4. Meh to Steph. I sold my tix to our home game against GSW, so I was excited to see him play in person. Harrison Barnes was much more impressive and fun to watch, IMO.

    5. Dwight. Howard. Acknowledged. Me. When Lin got fouled on one of the last possessions and they lined up for him to shoot the FTs, Dwight was pretty much directly in front of me, 10 rows down, w/ his back to me. I waited for a moment of quiet and yelled out, "Let's go, Rockets!" He turned around, I waved, he grinned at me, and I died. I am complete.

    6. Patrick.

    7. Effing.

    8. Beverley. I just love this dude, period. Absolutely fearless. Mr. 94 Feet, indeed.

I had such a great time... probably a better time than I usually do @ TC just because it was awesome to strut around in my Rockets gear amidst all of the salty GSW fans. A+ experience, would live again.

great chemistry moment up 7 with 48 seconds left, during the official review of the play off Bev's foot.

the way they were huddled up, with Chandler leading them, gave me goose bumps as a Rockets fan!

I agree, they are just learning to play together, the Rockets will be very tough to beat by the end of the season.

Just came back from Oracle too and here were my observations:

1.) There were far less Rockets jerseys in the audience this time compared to the last two times the Rockets came to town last season.

2.) Marreese Speights was pwning our bigs once DH12 had to sit out. He was getting in Casspi's face and pushing him around and making him his biatch.

3.) DMo and Casspi can't rebound or protect the paint. Their offensive abilities do not come anywhere near offsetting the defensive liabilities that they create.

4.) Harden is the most frustrating player to watch on the Rox. All he does is ask for the ball and do a fancy dribbling exhibition for 15-20 seconds then either he takes a questionable shot (which surprisingly goes in from time to time) or he dishes it to someone else (often JLin) with like 3-4 seconds left on the clock so that they can take a crappy shot instead. Harden reminds me of Steve Francis in this regard. His game will make you or break you depending on if his shots fall and he is a black hole in terms of ball movement. There were so many times than there was an open man but rather than pass it out, Harden would just dribble up the court and then do his stupid dribbling exhibition outside the arc till time was running out. And yes, his defense is pretty bad.

5.) JLin looked frustrated at one point early in the game where he and Bev just stood on the outside watching Harden dribble away and he gave this shoulder shrug with an "I don't know?" look towards the bench or coach.

6.) Casspi is also a big ball hog and once he gets the ball, he never gives it up. I think he thinks that he's much more talented offensively than he actually is.

7.) Bev and Parson's were solid and are great team players.

    8.) I still can't believe DH12 made a 3pointer and all his FTs!

Harden came up big at the end, scoring 10 points in the 4th, while Curry bricked every shot he took. I liked the fact that Sampson saw that we were struggling at the beginning of the 4th and brought in Harden early. At the same time though, I didn't like how long he kept Dwight sitting.

Glad he adjusted from our Portland game by making sure Harden or Dwight were on the floor at all times. There were too many times that game where both of them were off the floor, and it was blatantly obvious how much we struggled to do anything on either end.
