Lin still not getting picks. he's a pnr guard that doesnt get picks. like literally everytime he touches the ball, he should get a pick... i want to see greg smith play with lin before i give up on lin "leading" the bench cuz so far its been bad. casspi is a black hole and garcia has been garbage.

 

That third quarter was a nightmare for him, for sure. Up until then I didn't think he was playing awful. Keep in mind that I've never expected him to light it up for 18/10 every night. His stats last year as a starter were about what I was expecting, and his start to this year was better than I expected.

That's me playing devil's advocate. I hate seeing players from the home team getting hated on, even if it's deserved.

 

1. the rockets section of PSD pretty much died. excuse me for not posting there anymore.

2. i didn't like the criteria to be a a "real" Rockets fan is to root for, hope for, and celebrate the failure of one of our players. if that's the case, you can cross me off your all important list of "real" rockets fans on clutchfans.

 

Less playing time mean lower stats
Lower stats mean less money on your next contract

So yeah it is the same it's costing Lin millions in future money an years of development on his game. Asik did exactly what he needed to do. Lin is too interested in being accepted and having "friends" that he doesn't realize this situation is possibly ruining or at the very least damaging his career.

Asik realized this. Heck at Asik could say he was being passed over for the best center in the game.

Lin is being passed over for a guy that has started 20 odd games and has a Per of 11. Love Bev but Lin is an idiot if he doesn't do what Asik did.


His career. It's up to him.

 

I agree, Bev has a great game tonight, but the haters don't need to be hating on Lin who just recovered from his injury.

 

Lins shot actually looked good but his rhythm isn't there.it might take a week or two, but it will improve

Yes, being a backup and putting up nearly no stats on the bulls certainly cost him.

 

The 'Lin' fans are guilty of this certainly as well.

Honestly, I just wish there was more talk about the TEAM and not any one player. They got a tough win on the road tonight, split a couple of tough games, we should be happy about that.

 

JH has been playing solid defense for a few games. Hopefully he has turned the corner. So credit to him.

DH has improved his free throws. He is more relaxed.

CP's 3 pointer is back and he cuts so well

PB just need to slow down on offense. He will be fine.

Now we just need TJ, Lin, and FG pick up their game.

i know there are fans with undying support of Bevery despite Beverly and have a whole bunch of excuses for Beverly's shotcomings while bashing Lin and celebrate his struggles every chance they get...as evident in this thread. these sir, are BOFs. you're blind to not see they exist.

I logged onto Clutchfans excited that we beat the dubs and was ready to join the celebrating...until I see all these BOFs bashing Lin while tauting Beverly's ONE good game as "evidence" that Beverly's 10x Lin while disparaging other fans on this site. you tell me, do BOFs exist or not?

Really? Is that why we signed Asik to that nice deal when he had never started? He had lower stats as a backup in Chicago, got paid as a starter in Houston.

Regarding your thoughts on Lin's actions... Wow. You two must be tight to know his personal agenda. He's a pro. He's handling this like a pro. The more you complain, the more you get tagged as having baggage. Baggage can also cost you money in the long term, unless you're a top 10 superstar.

 

If I am not mistaken, someone posted that Clutch was not in favor of Lin from the get go.

It's ok to start at the bottom. It's not ok to finish or keep going back there.

That's like. Fat guy who works out real hard Loses 100 pounds and then gains 100 pounds back, the works hard and loses it again and gains it back.

It's a ladder. You don't get to the top by getting half way and the. Letting someone else force you back down again.
