?

Do you need b-ball skills/sense to play in the NBA?

  1. Hell no. NBA never require much b-ball skills/sense.

Not everyone does the little head bump thing after every basket like Miles does either, but that doesn't make it a skill. A skill is something that requires training, something that is not inborn. Miles can run fast and jump high because of his genes. No matter how much I try, will never be able to have the athletecism of Miles. Skills are things like passing and shooting.

Don't confuse skill with talent. Talent is inborn. skill is trained.

Newgirl, if you think Madsen (or any og the players you mentioned as "no skill") has no skill, why don't you challenge him for a 1-on-1 and see if he'll kill you.

Of course it's a skilled sport, even a scrub like Fred Hoiberg would destroy anyone of us in a game.

    In America, yes.

Soccer(Though not popular among many above the age of 14 here in the US) is popular enough around the world, that I consider it one of the big four. I would also say that it is becoming more and more popular here, especially among girls.

Also, I consider hockey to be God's punishment to NBA fans waiting for scores during the 7 AM Sportscenter.

    ;)
