Can anyone recommend a good furniture place from experience? We like the Natuzzi brand stuff if that helps. Thanks.

Castle Furniture on Fondren (@ Westpark) is very contemporary and expensive. Athletes shop there. There's a few other good spots in that area.

Your best bet for furniture (especially contemporary) is online. Furniture has tremendous markups, and you are getting screwed when buying off a showroom floor.

Find the brands and pieces you want, then scour the internet for the cheapest prices. Many times shipping is free.

whoever the hell just recommended roche bobois and ligne roset must have assumed you were looking to drop $10,000+ on a sofa

ligne roset is amazing, the togo is my all time favorite sofa, but I don't even have the heart to drop $11,000 on a couch when i have 2 labradors running around my house all day jumping up and down on the couch

If you are on a budget target.com has some great cheap contemporary stuff. However, you have to watch for their free delivery deals and/or do in-store pickup.

For wood furniture, a great option is having things custom built. All you need is a carpenter. There are plenty of high class hinges and drawer slides that glide like ice skates and move like hydraulics. Cornerstone Hardware sells them.

I have a Togo. How the hell is this thing worth so much? I took it from a former employer who was getting rid of it. I knew Ligne Roset was expensive, but .

Found a lot of stuff at Z-Gallerie in the woodlands. We actually bought a sofa just recently from them they have right at the front door when you walk in. We love it.

If you want Natuzzi in Houston, just go to Star Furniture. You'll be able to get anything you want at a fair price.

not too knowledgeable when it comes to furniture, but bought a couch and coffee table from high fashion home not too long ago. pretty large selection in a huge three or four story building on the edge of the montrose area. they delivered to galveston and still happy with the purchase.
