    I've said this MANY times...

    Asik/Beverly/Dmo
    for
    Rondo

Why houston does it? self-explanatory..gives us an elite playmaker...relieves pressure from james and get the ball out of his hands down the stretch where he tends to make those awful iso plays..also rondo will get dwight and our whole offense, many easy shots.

Why boston does it? rebuilding teams need an identity. Boston is forming one by playing hard on both ends of the court. Asik/Bradely/Beverly would give them a STRONG defensive core to build on. By only giving up Rondo, who hasn't played this season, and getting Asik/Beverly...this team will easily make the playoffs.

im with you but rondos not healthy now so morey would take a risk. I see him getting a pick for asik in a package before 15th then if rondo shows morey hes healthy before feb. deadline, morey prepares for the blockbuster

Rondo also has a playoff toughness that no one on this current team has, he's got almost a hundred playoff games under his belt and the kid knows how to set guys up and dish. Chris Webber nailed it last night in saying the rockets play to much one on one and not enough assist.

Am not fan of trading for Rondo because imo this isn't right system for him but your statement is probably one of the dumbest posts I have seen, Rondo is an All-star caliber PG and top 3 PG in the NBA when he is healthy, and saying that he'll be eaten alive in the west that is truly plain stupid.

Rondo won't dominate the ball on this team so his assist numbers will be down.
He can't shoot so he's useless whenever Harden and Howard are ISOing.
His best asset is his quickness which is questionable coming off major knee injury.(See Shumpert, DRose, etc)

No we don't. He is a social disaster. Can't be coached. Runs the show. He and Dr. Rivers almost came to blows several times and at their last meeting when Dr.Left to go to LAC he and Rondo had to be restrained . He is bad news.

I think Harden will not defer to anyone. He is the face of the Rockets.

it's not about harden anymore. Dwight is on this team, Parsons is apparently the team's new all-star, terrence jones is emerging, though his weaknesses are glaring due, and then there is dwight.

If rondo comes, then harden must step aside some more and accept his role, just as everyone else has.

And wtf, I'm not too high on Rondo, but people are saying he'd be eaten alive in the west? really? he mustve been out for a really long time.

We already have Bev, why need Rondo? It's not like the ball will be in his hands anyway. Sure, he may have the ball in his hands for a few games, then Harden will take it over. And we back to the base again.

people keep saying rondo needs ball in his hands well he found something to do on the court when pierce and kg would ISO

people say harden needs ball in hands well he found something to do when westbrook and durant would ISO

the fact is harden having the ball in his hands wont get us to or out the WCF,its productive but it will be easy to stop in the playoffs, and last night showed harden didnt want the ball every play he is willing to let others create he gave bev and parsons plenty of chances and played off the ball down the strech

How many of those accolades came after tearing his ACL?

In any case, I don't think Morey would target a veteran perimeter player who can't hit a 3 pointer.

After Asik's departure, Rockets needs a backup center more than anything.
Utilizing T Jones in backup center is pure husstle play.
