better hope LMA doesn't go down for any amount of time... I mean we could lose dwight or harden and still would roll...... Blazers got nothing without LMA

 

What is that a 10-0 run beginning of the 4th when we ended the 3rd tied

 

Really, the starters got us two from a nine point deficit and at the start of the fourth, he puts in Lin, bev,casspi,Garcia and game over. In the last harden and Howard busted their asses to bring it back but it was to much

 

I don't understand why no adjacament was made on Aldridge all game long, he was killing jones all night and no one was guarding him other than jones

 

I'm surprised we got that close.

We really do not play as a team and our starting line-up and minute allocations suck... Basically our coaching deficit is extreme.

This team will not win anything if it continues on this path.

 

Rockets lost because starters sucked (i.e., Parsons/Bev/Jones)

 

Seriously blaming on the bench? Lin/Garcia/Casspi equate to the best +/- tonight.....the blame lands flat on the starter...they had pretty the whole 4th to themselves.

 

nothing beats the lakers loss.

i still haven't forgiven the team for that

 

Bev came ready to play.
Howard came ready to play.
Everyone else was iffy at best.

Sampson showed his lack of experience, especially in that crucial start to the 4th quarter.

Well, on to the next one.

 

No, the bench was a big part of it.

 

No big deal. Portland is just hot right now. Gonna fade late in the year. That style of play doesn't work in the playoffs unless you have dirk to go God mode.

 

That 2 minute plus was a killer but the starters needed to rest a bit. The bench should've played better. Garcia's shot was off and Lin first game was to be expected after being out for 7 games.

 

Sure if you like a player that has sucked all season and especially tonight.

Great game. Tough loss. We lost so quickly. Victory remained in grasp until just near the end. It stayed so close the entire time.

 

In less than 2 minutes the bench gave up an 8-0 run

the bench lost this game

 

Easy to place the blame on the bench when Parsons was playing **** early on, coupled with a lackluster Harden and the non-existent offense of Bev (can't fault his D though).

 

Sampson has never liked Lin 15 minutes 4 shot attempts mainly went to Howard post while he was in. Parsons and Bev played horrible offense with both shooting 30% Sampson refused to sub anyone thought the starters could win this game by themselves.

 

Lin has shown he can be a very very good pg. Problem is he doesn't get to play his position no this team. He is just so underutilized. Look at the games where he has gotten heavy minutes. Hes proven he can play. He just doesn't get any respect.

 

Yeah blame the guys who played fifteen minutes while the elephant takes a dump on your face.
