right now CP3, especially considering he is 6'. And he ain't AI neither, he's got D, he's a team player, and he's serious about winning. In 2-3 years, I'm saying George; I'd even venture to say that IF LBJ's age catches up to him when he is in his early 30's, then the discussion who the best player will shift to Durant and George. Yup
You don't think CP3 would have done that last year if you put LAC in the east and Indy in the west? I mean, by most measures LAC outperformed Indy last year and CP3's cast was worse than George's... But it's a big difference playing a 50 win bruiser team in the first round vs whatever garbage Indy got to play.
A lot of players, particularly point guards, are difficult to impossible to guard. That's why it takes a team to stop a player, especially a top 5-10 player like LBJ, Paul, or Westbrook. The difference is that CP3 and LBJ are STILL difficult to stop even by a team, that's why they are MVP candidates, and that's why they are in the top 5 and not the top 10.
Yep, Paul is better than Paul. Now let's talk about LeBron James and James Harden. James is better than James. Almost forgot: Dwight Howard and Howard Chen. Howard is better than Howard.
Pacers had better cast than Clippers? Didn't you brag about the depth of Clips last year? They were ranked among the top in depth while Pacers had NO depth last year! I guess excessive whining is embedded in their culture and identity. Next time we might see a Clips fan gets into a debate, falls to the ground, and calls mod for a foul. They could become a likable team if they stop flopping and whining!
Your hate for a sporting team is irrational. You might want to get some help for that. I thought the Clippers had good depth last year but VDN didn't really utilize it by limiting Bledsoe so much. As you can see this year, he's a star in the making. But it would be hard to argue that outside of George and CP3, the Clippers were better than the Pacers.
25 points at .475 fg% and 5.7 assists while leading his team to the best record in the nba. I'm not saying he's lebron, I'm just saying you know nothing. Let me guess, you think harden is better and the rockets have a better chance at the title this year?
I think you mean 5.7 rebounds, George doesn't get many assists because he doesn't really have a dribble drive or handles to create opportunities. Of course while he continues to shoot 3's at a higher rate than Stephen Curry, his scoring will stay up.
Why is is it a crime to think Harden is better then George. Tons of people over at ESPN just thought that two months ago. Harden has been playing injured this year and has shown that when he wants to he can actually play some defense. I'm not saying Harden is better but you don't have to be a homer to still prefer Harden over George. Harden is still the better all around offensive player IMO.
Lol he said nothing about Harden. I don't think PG is better than Chris Paul though. Paul is a good defender and one of the best offensive players in the NBA.
