1. Anthony Davis 2. Paul George 3. Andre Drummond 4. James Harden 5. John Wall 6. Blake Griffin What do you guys think? I think it's pretty fair. Drummond's upside is enormous. He only just turned 20 and is averaging a double double. Here's the rest: Spoiler
Not surprised Anthony Davis is #1. I'm pretty sure he and George, if they continue on this trajectory, will be 1 and 2 (in whatever order) for the MVP race, for years to come.
Well I'd certainly agree that Harden is at a higher injury risk than most, Davis' risk is his body, I'm not convinced Drummond can overcome his weaknesses, and George's only real risk is that he's going to be run into the ground ala Luol Deng. George's low WARP is because he's nowhere near as good as the media are trying to tell you, but the stats haven't got the message.
Jeremy Lin is 25. If 25 year olds were allowed to be on this list I assume Kevin Durant would be on it.
that's what happens when a ranking system incorporates 200 people and not 3, individual bias gets siphoned out for the most part.
I'm pretty sure almost any knowledgable non-Rockets fan would agree with this list. Davis was leading the league in PER before he got injured and had 20/10 with like 4 blocks per game. Drummond is following Dwight's career path. George is a year younger and is already a better player.
He should definitely be behind Davis, and he should probably be behind George, but there is no way Drummond should be ranked ahead of him. So I'd put Harden at #3.
