    (Harbaugh, Tomlin, etc.) Under contract?

Those teams aren't going to release them to other NFL teams.

I hear his offensive play calling is unstoppable.

Wouldn't Mac Brown be the ultimate Good ole boy, battlefighting Texan hire? It would be like a Clay Walker wet dream.

I'd like Kevin Gilbride to be the next head coach of the Texans. I think he could help really help Case be a successful QB.

Not a fan of Wade Phillips getting the job, but I say if he wins the last three, give it to him. A turnaround like that would be nothing short of miraculous.

Seeing Briles on that list is strange to me. Doubt he has much interest in making the jump to pro football. More likely that he leaves Baylor for UT than the Texans. Briles leaving Baylor before the innagural season in the new stadium he made possible... hard to see that happening for any reason.

I'd put my money on Ken Whisenhunt, who will draft Jake Matthews in order to implement his power/man blocking scheme on the offensive line. Lovie Smith seems less likely only because I don't think Mr McNair will want to change the D to a 4-3.

I'd be all for this. He's one of the few defensive minded coaches suggested that runs a 3-4. His 3-4 is a 2-gap system, so it's a bit different, but wouldn't require the overhaul Lovie Smith or Zimmer would need. Mainly would need to get a "space eating" DT to replace the smallish 1-gap DT's on our current roster.

Who we would pair with him as OC would be crucial though.

Only if he can get Rob Ryan to be his defensive coordinator.

Mike Mayock was slobberin' all over Ken Whisenhunt tonight during the Broncos/Chargers game, giving Whisenhunt credit for reviving the SD offense... FWIW

I heard him mainly crediting McCoy also.... especially when discussing Rivers, and the ability to get the ball out sooner.

Mayock likes to hear his own voice.

Yea, I've thought people were sleeping on Whisenhunt. He's pretty much done to the SD offense what Phillips did to our D a few years back. Plus, Whisenhunt's had more playoff success than Lovie despite a much less attractive regular season record.

I'd be concerned with who the DC ended up being though.
