This is the biggest difference. Plus there won't be that many nights where George is shut down like Harden because he is much more versatile scorer. Has a good midrange game unlike Harden.
Pimp I understand exactly what you are saying but these jokers on here loves to twist people words. All you are doing is stating the obvious. SMH
Give me George over Harden any day of the week. I like stars who play BOTH sides of the ball. Not this try on offense, coast on defense BS that Harden is putting up.
Paul shot like crap today. But his impact led to the win, Dude dominated with his Defense in the 3rd and 4th. There was a play in which 3 Jazz followed him and he threw it to a wide open West.
George and Pacers beat the Jazz. We lost at home to Phoenix. Harden shot 0-10 from 3. Sometimes it's good to be honest with yourself. Whatever your opinion of Harden, it's pretty clear he isn't going to be the main guy that gets us a ring.
Welp.... I guess the the GARM will consist of only Harden/Dwight/Lin/Mchale hating for this season. Crazy considering our youth/record. At least the Texans and the Hangout forums keep things fun around here.
Man if you don't stop speaking factual ***** around the GARM. Harden proved your theory right tonight. bwhahahhahaha
Harden and George are both capable players offensively. Defensively though, I'll take George anytime.
The Pacers defense is better than our Rockets. They have a defensive minded coach and they have built up chemistry on both ends, especially defensively.
Terribad logic here. George and the Pacers lost to the Blazers...and Harden and the Rockets beat the Blazers. I don't understand the rush here, why can't people wait until games actually matter to make such claims? I know some of you have your agenda and all so I guess that does make sense.
As I said...looks like it's just gonna be a Harden/Dwight/Lin/etc. hate-fest this year. Even when we've won games people have never stopped. Obviously we've had some slip-ups and some bad moments, but we have the 6th best record in the league and we haven't even played our best. It's going to be a long year I guess. People act like we're as bad as Brooklyn and New York. So be it...
I agree with everything you said, but my main concern is come playoff time. All these ongoing issues we are seeing now will become magnified and our Achilles's heel during the playoffs. If the coaching staff and most importantly the players can make huge strides in these areas then awesome. If not, we are seriously screwed. I think that's where all this overreaction stems from....the fear that these problems will not be corrected by then.
You are 10000% correct with those concerns... IF WE WEREN'T ONLY 20 GAMES IN! I repeat....WE ARE 20 GAMES IN. Please, for the love of God, I hope people understand this. We have 62 games left! Playoffs are simply not what people need to be worried about right now. The Asik trade hasn't even gone down yet. We're missing THREE of our best players right now! We've been battling injuries all year! There is just way too many variables right now to declare that the way we look right now is the way we'll look for the rest of the season. And I'll say it ONCE AGAIN...we have the 6th best record in the league! We're not a bad team! We're actually a very good team!
Yes, we are a good team, but we are supposed to be legitimate contenders -- which brings very high (sometimes unrealistic) expectations. We may have 6th best record in the league, but we are the 5th seed in the West right now. GSW are the 8th seed at 11-8, who are only 1.5 GB of us. The race to the playoffs in the West is going to be very tight this year and every win matters because it may cost us in the seeding. Losing to two inferior teams in a row is obviously going to cause a stir in the fan base. The point is, we actually do have glaring weaknesses and problems, which we will need to address and fix if we want to contend this year and in the coming years. Yes, it's early, but that doesn't discount that fact that we have fixable problems that need to be addressed and dealt with as early as possible.
