that's too naive. right,Championship is the most important thing in NBA??? What All star weekend stand for?? Do you really believe H&H or even Parson will get more All Star Voting than Lin???
Obviously he is a LOF with an "agenda". I mean...pffft, he makes the Rockets better. WTF is he smoking? Beverly can fill his minutes shooting below the Mendoza line, and playing supposed lock down D. Allowing teams to play 5 on 4 D. Ohh and Brooks too!!!!!
Damaged? Did Lin shoot overall better than Harden Last year? How about this year? Who turns the ball over more? Who moves the least? Who has the national media mocking his unwillingness to play D? Who shoots the three better this year and for most of last year? So let me get this right. Harden is a beneficiary of the system that allows him to not play D, cherry pick on turnovers, and dominate the ball. He is a system person. Put Harden on the Spurs and he would disintegrate into nothingness. LOL
I love how you leave out Hardens PPG or how many fouls he draws, creating a ton of free throws or the fact that his presence alone got Dwight here. You pick what you want to make the point you want. Would you be happen with Lin and Asik and the 14th pick for 5 years in a row? After Lin leaves next year, who will all you Lin obsessive yell and scream about after?
I like how he used the interview to hammer home that Lin is a second unit guy. Sampson misses Lin as long as Lin knows his place. Sampson was the guy that started the trend of benching Jeremy in the 4th quarter for Tony Douglas. The right move in my opinion. Bev has got this. Proof is always in the pudding and the cream always rises to the top. Get'em Pat!!
Have been since the days of Moses Malone. How about you buddy? I actually wept when we traded Moses. Got angry when he won with the 76ers. Watched as we drafted players like Roderick Rhodes, Zan Tabak, Derrick Chievous get drafted. Saw World B Free shoot his rainbow jumpers, Stuck through the years when Sam Mack was a personal favorite. Remembered Sleepy Floyd for being the first time I was truly disappointed with a Rockets acquisition. I believe that Elvin Hayes was the most underrated Rockets player ever, and put up probably the best statistical season ever as a member of the San Diego Rockets...buddy, I am a Rockets fan, probably before you were even born. Difference between you and I is that I am a fan of the Rockets. You guys who have sand in your vagina because you cant stand letting the Lin fans speak on a message board seem to be the bigger NON Rocket fans. You actually wish Lin to do poorly because you don't like his fans? That's the ultimate in doche baggery. You are not real Rocket fans.
Come to think of it Sampson benching Lin in the 4th for Tony D was the very first thing in the long and linear progression of moves that culminated with Lin eventually being demoted to backup in favor of Bev. Started almost exactly a year ago to the day.
Wow. I'm not even a Lin fan and that was the most crushing smack down I have ever seen on a sport message board.
You seem to not realize that with an Improved Center and Harden the Rockets picked up 3 more wins that a squad with Martin as our star player.
Yep. Lin got demoted for being too good. Putting noticeably worse guards in his place who won't threaten Harden was Sampson's plan all along.
Playing Tony Douglas over anybody in this League is tantamount to starting Patrick Beverly in the NBA because he "fits" better.
No not really. If Lin was in instead of Parsons they probably would have won those games as well. But when both Lin AND Parsons is out then we definitely miss both of them.
^^^ I'm honestly not aware of any other team in the league where "fans" go so overboard in trying to discredit their franchise player. It's really quite fascinating to watch lol.
I'm a long time Knick fan who doesn't believe that Melo has what it takes to lead the team to a championship.
Gotta keep Bevs trade value up. There's no way that Jeremey goes back into the starting lineup before the trade deadline.
