Actually, if I remember correctly, that was the year the Raptors got Carter. Of course, they drafted Jamison and the traded for Carter later. But had we traded Dream, we would of had that draft pick, but we would not have Francis now, because we would have traded two of our 3 first round picks to Toronto in that deal. Which BTW was the pick we selected Dikerson with, which makes the Francis deal non-existent. So the end result? Toronto would not have Carter, we would most likely have Jamison and we would not have Franchise. Looking back I am really glad we did not pull that trade off. -Turbo
Turbo, Actually, Carter and Jamison were in the '98 draft and the Hakeem trade offer was in the '99 draft. So, we really wouldn't have had a chance at Carter or Jamison. More likely we would have picked Bender or Szczerbiak. ------------------
