Not surprising if the Rockets are talking to the Bucks as they are one of the few teams that really could use Asik's services long term. I know, I know... Larry Sanders just got paid.... blah blah. That doesn't mean anything. I wouldn't be shocked at all if the Bucks moved Sanders regardless, much less if they had the ability to bring in Asik as his replacement. Sanders' deal was a result of a great breakout season last year, but I think the Bucks are smart enough to know that if they can get value for him in a trade he's a nice asset for them to bring in good talent. Asik is an upgrade from Sanders IMO. As for the Rockets interest in the Greek Freak... not a big surprise that they will look at players of this caliber for a variety of reasons. -High upside -should be flippable easily -could possibly suite their needs (versatile wing w/ elite defensive potential) So while I'm skeptical about the source (no offense OP), it doesn't surprise me at all if the Rockets have had their eye on the Greak Freak for years now and the Bucks are one the many teams the Rockets are talking to right now about an Asik deal.
Giannis ABC is my favorite prospect from the 2013 draft. I would love this trade, especially if he came with a back up center in Udoh.
Err how is Asik better than Sanders? Sanders is a better shot blocker, better help defender (The best IMO), and I'm not going to post that chart on his impact on defense here for the 1000th time. And remember his impact is with 3 minus defenders in Ersan, Ellis, Jennings last season. And he's younger then Asik who is in his prime.
I think this is an obvious response to this, but I would do that every day of the week. Talk about potential.
I'd love to get the Greek Freak, who has great potential. Can't see the Bucks being interested though. Asik would help them win now when they are probably happy to tank with the quality of the coming draft class. Then next year they'd have to deal with that balloon payment.

That Greek guy is only 18/19 and will probably grow to 7' tall, with good ball handling skills and tremendous upside. I doubt the Bucks will be dumb enough to throw a potential star player for Asik.
