Why doesn't anyone ever complain about the MOFs?

Because MOFs don't pull the race card?

Anyway, I'm a DMo fan and believe he's a better defender than most people give him credit for. He's not strong enough to defend the post against stronger bigs. He doesn't seem to have the instinct for help defense. But he hustles. And he's pretty good at defending the stretch 4s out at the perimeter. I don't have the stats. These are just from my subjective eye tests.

It's because everyone knows to make him guard you in the post. He still doesn't have the wieight to body up big men.

Only 23 FGA's. It's WAY too small to make any assumptions.

3 more made FG's and it swings by 13%. That could just as easily be an opponent having a bad night as DMo's defense.

Should probably wait until 60 or 70 FGA's defended before we start getting too worked up.

I think Chuck had just about as many moves at Dwight.

Man, look how easy it was for Yao, he could do that all day. And his stroke is flawless, ridiculous that we had our center shooting our techs. Miss the big fella.

We finally found the reason why you should not solely judge players based on numerical analytics.

DMo is really hard to shoot over because of his height and length. He moves his feet better on defense this year, even though he does still get too many fouls. So far this year I've seen very few opposing players challenge DMo in the post, and even fewer are successful. His one-on-one defense is nice! What hurts is DMo's help D, which is lousy.

    YOU in particular.

Most other people understnad the concept of context just fine, thanks.

He is not as bad as people think, he is just awkward at times which makes him look worse.

When he is in position and standing tall he is a presence.

I did say I thought DMO would be a much better defender on a player like LeBron versus someone like Roy Hibbert.

    True. Ryan Bowen style awkward.
He fouls too much because he gets pushed around by opposing bigs. For someone his size, he seems too weak.

    Love his creative moves though.

Exactly. Most of his minutes come when bad players are just jacking up shots. DMo looks horrible on defense. He just needs to gain about 25 pounds and get some muscles so he can play in the paint.
