Yeah, for an hour or two, after that you're in pain and hobbling again. It's only a temporary fix, sort of like an anesthetic.
You get that from acupuncture... thats why parsons is seeing that doctor like every morning... if you have a chiropractor who actually knows how to get rid of the pain, you can be pain free for atleast a week... thats how it goes with me
CP25 is good player but please let not get carried away as he the glue. It due to lack of backup for CP25, Garcia is terrible backup.
To be honest, Houston may have an extension already in place for Chandler Parsons. They just want to take care of there men. Another below million dollar season for Parsons personally would have sucked. He will appreciate the fact that Houston wants to pay him now!
No. If the Rockets resign him in July next year they cannot trade him till next year. What this means most likely is one of two things- 1. The Rockets really do want to keep Parsons for the long haul and want to lock him up before he has the opportunity to leave. They think restricted free agency is the way to go to get the best deal. (They also might be planning on hedging their bets towards adding another superstar this Summer and not next year or at the trade deadline) or 2. They are declining his option for another team that he is going to be traded to. It makes him more of an asset to some teams that might not be able to get a quality free agent, and they can get him locked up this July. (note from Larry Coon FAQ reg S&T that might help: If a team matches an offer sheet and retains its free agent, then for one year they cannot trade him without his consent, and during that year cannot trade him at all to the team that signed him to the offer sheet. They also can't trade the player in a sign-and-trade transaction (see question number 90). A restricted free agent's resulting contract (whether with the new team or the contract is matched by the player's prior team) cannot be amended in any manner for one year.)
I'm almost positive that you cannot S&T a free agent for another free agent in the new CBA. If the goal is really to trade him in a package for a star, I think the target is almost certainly Love or Rondo. Not sure about an ETO player if they opt in.
We can S&T him this offseason or trade him next season, as long as it doesn't involve matching another teams offer (i.e. he excepts an offer from the Rox without hearing other offers).
Correct: http://www.cbafaq.com/salarycap.htm#Q90 1 These teams are free to send players to other teams in sign-and-trade transactions, or to receive players in sign-and-trade transactions who weren't signed-and-traded themselves. Also, the restriction applies only to the sign-and-trade transaction itself -- teams are free to acquire players who had been signed-and-traded in earlier transactions. However, this would not preclude a Parsons/Asik/Lin trade with the Knicks conditioned on Melo agreeing to waive his opt-out or agreeing to an extend and trade.
