Think you forgot what this thread is: 42% of CF find it difficult even to root for Harden. It's a little more than "questioning his effort." And NBA players "catch heat," yeah, but their home fans tend to root for them at least. Otherwise, they wouldn't be called fans, would they?

yeah harden does probably get more heat than usual maybe its just Houston fans IDK, his defense was actually good in the playoffs last year and with OKC so he knows how to play D just like how he has the past few games. The ISOs have improved also, in every interview lately he has actually been preaching ball movement for those who don’t know. But he has to ISO sometimes, like yesterday he would try to throw ball to bev but he didnt want it would give it right back, Parsons is the only other playmaker he feels like he can go to at this point, so it is what it is. The 10 assist yesterday and his post defense was nice ! I was at the game yesterday in lowers, he was working hard out there.
Believe it or not, this isn't the first time someone has posted that link, yet this fool still posts here. I remember someone else calling him out earlier this year and finding the same thread you posted.
He averaged 18.5 pts, 3.7 ast, 5.5 reb, 1.17 steals, 49.3% FG%, 60.9% 3pt FG% in the Western Conference Finals all while coming off the bench and playing 3rd option behind Durant and Westbrook. In fact, his performances in those WCF are the reason the Thunder even got past the Spurs and made it to the finals.
It is hard to root for a player who needs to be coaxed into giving effort and who is reluctant to take responsibility when he plays poorly. Of course, I want him to be successful because us winning depends on it. So in that sense I root for him. But if he wasn't a Rocket, I wouldn't root for him (and there are many non-Rockets I root for because I admire the way they approach things).
