LOL. This is a terrible post.

Stars may still have things to learn from role players. The greatest stars in any trade are the ones who never lose that hunger to learn more.

Harden appears to dish it out to all of his teammates and not receive it back. I can see why fans are somewhat concerned. Still, there's a lot of season left.

Not even going to touch the Kobe thing.

Melo > Harden. At least Melo have more All-Star votes and play better defense. Last year Harden was barely crack 450K votes on NBA ballot, this year that number will probably be less than 200K and likely he will be out of All-Star game this year. Any All-Star coach will pick him? NOT (unless it's McHale... lol..NOT)

This is the dumbest post. Who cares how Harden lives his personal life as long as he is not hurting other people or committing crimes. Newsflash a dude that likes to go to strip clubs, come on people lets stop being hypcrotes. You are just hating bc he gets millions of dollars and you dont, get over it. The man is a human being, we dont know Jeremy Lin, he could be a partier too. If you could live like these athletes you would too, enough whining.

My favorite is the recent trade for Melo thread that popped up. The one where Lin gets sent back to NY. The OP clearly just wanted Lin back on his team, but tried to spin it as such a great positive move for The Rockets.

Oh and I forgot there was one great post trying to compare our current rockets team to a Yankees team from at least 10 years ago.

All the New York talk around here really is getting old.

They never really watched basketball before Linsanity, in their mind the only players that exist are the 2012 Knicks roster, and the current Rockets roster. This is why you still hear Novak being mentioned so much.

You can tell so much that their basketball knowledge are just what they read in the last few years on the ESPN board or something and it shows. "Harden does nothing in the playoffs" "Chokes against the Heat" for example are just one of those myths you hear on the internet. Because for the people that actually watched the playoffs that year knows Harden was the best player behind Durant in that Spurs series where they won 4 in a row after losing 2 games. Yes Harden shot badly in the finals, but pretty much the whole team did bad other than Durant, they were all really young and inexperienced I don't think anyone expected them to win. Westbrook had a TS% of 50 for that series.

All of you including OP fighting over your favourite cartoon animals.....

Harden is a very skilled offensive player. Period.

Please stop commenting on his personality, because none of you fans have a fricking clue, so stop guessing.

    What you should ask is:
How is his image portrayed on the NBA silverscreen?

Well... horrible. At least to me.

His tough guy demeanour and lack of positive emotional display does not appeal to me, just like Marseilles Wallace did not appeal to me in the movie, although he's a badas I'm sure.

I've always liked dramatic players. Think of Barkley, Shaq, Rodman and C-Web. They don't try to control the game, they exemplify the game.

What reason is there to dislike him from a fans perspective? He seems pretty creative to me. I think some people don't like him because he's very introverted and reserved. It drives some controlling people crazy when others don't let them inside their head.

I love harden cause he's a creative lefty. I put him next to jimi hendrix and omar rodriguez lopez (of mars volta fame) as my favorite lefties.

Plus, the large, large majority of NBA players cheat on their wives (according to numerous accounts), a handful smoke pot in the offseason, etc. Who gives a &&&& what they do in their personal lives? If it affects their play on court, that is for the coaching staff to deal with.

Isn't it great how CF has evolved to include so many anti-Rockets threads?

Haha awesome response! I love mccartney! I actually went to his concert at the toyota center a couple years ago. One of my all time favorite concerts next to seeing the mars volta , tera melos, and red hot chili peppers (back when they had john frusciante).

My bad for talking music. Back to rockets talk! Haha

Everyday this place gets worse and worse. It is very hard to know exactly what is being said on the court when watching from home or the stands.

And no...it is not hard to root for anyone wearing the red and white.

He appears to wear a Rocket jersey. For verification, when he puts the ball in the basket it counts as points for our team. After I made sure he fits both criteria, he has been incredibly easy to root for.

tldr: He plays for the Rockets, that's the only reason I need to root for him.

Did you come up with this all by yourself, or did you get help?
