Also very interesting how the author points out that at least this year, the Lin is getting or using lots of PNR according to his numbers!

Jeremy is a solid basketball player and like Mchale has said he has, and Jeremy said in the interview, he has made peace with who he is as a talented role player off the bench who can help a team when the starters need to get refocused. To play in the NBA is an honor and Jeremy's talents to help a team in this way is very valuable. I'm glad he has found peace with this like Coach Mchale has said and can help play this role with less angst.

Other than that Jeremy is obviously very intelligent he went to Harvard, but he may be the most uncharismatic pro athlete I have ever seen give an interview. Seems like he has a problem looking the lady interviewer in the eye and uses "umm" a lot. He was obviously star struck when the interview began due to the linsanity hype and reputation but seemed a little off put by the end. Actually it was kind of awkward.

Great interview. Lin has a very level-headed, mature approach to a lot of things in his life. In particular, the issue of racism and stereotyping - the interviewer asked him some really pointed questions, and he was able to respond with honesty and without anger, even though he clearly experienced and admitted to facing those issues in his career. There are a lot of people who would use that anger and pain to fuel their own inner hatred, understandably so.

That he was able to take it in, grow from the experience, and try to look forward is incredibly mature for a guy still in his 20's. He could've turned out to be a very angry person - imagine if he had Linsanity and then constantly screamed about racism and proving himself and how everyone doubted him ha ha look at me now. It's not at all that hard to imagine, given it shows up on the court every day. A lot of professional athletes are working through their own pain, and use their success as athletes to build their own egos or counter the detractors in their lives. Not letting that boil over into a more damaging psychological issue is hard to manage when you are that young and that unprepared.

He is an NBA starting quality PG who has made peace with coming off the bench for this team. Enough.

Can't look her in the eye? It was awkward? What?

You have a pretty odd perspective on a fairly standard two camera interview. You are right that he is not the most polished speaker in the world, but beyond that your comments only line up with the most jaundiced view of reality imaginable.

Actually, those are his typical Lin comments. He's one to be ignored.

What are you talking about? I love Lin. I have written repeatedly that Lin would probably be an All Star in THIS year if he played in the year. I like Lin a lot and wish the best for him.

But he is uncharismatic and does not interview well. No one will ever mistake him for Ali.

Plus why has Lin never been associated or attached to any women? Harden has a picture posted every week with his latest favorite stripper, Dwight is on his 3rd baby mama and Chandler bang is dating a new model every month.

Lin has never been associated with any women EVER. Even at the very height of linsanity when he was one of most famous people in the world. Doesn't anybody else find that a little weird?

To play in the NBA is an honor? Yes, it's an honor that you won the genetic lottery. You'be been believing way too much of McHale's BS. Teams will dump players at any moment if they don't produce. Just ask Hakeem.
