I always feel like playing the Spurs in the regular season is playing a team driving at 90%, they don't use special tactics, they use extended rotations, they rest players.

And then there's the playoff Spurs

The Spurs. They are by far the smartest, best-coached team in the league.

However, you always want to compete with older age. Eventually, their bodies will wear down and they don't have the personnel on the bench to consistently secure games. Dwight defending Tim would be a plus, and unlike Omer, Dwight has an offensive game which would make Time work harder on both ends of the floor.

Chandler could defend and cancel out Ginobilli's scoring.

It woulc come down to us finding a way to stop Parker from getting in the lane, and how Harden is playing.

I don't want to play the Spurs though.

If it were up to me, I'd like the Warriors or Blazers.

Thunder. If we play zone defense like we did when Westbrook was playing like last year, we should be fine. It worked very very well until Fisher/Jackson started for WB and hit a bunch of threes.

thunder. tailor the defense to either durant or westbrook. defend the other man to man. cant win a playoff series with one player against a good team with a lotta depth. looks good on paper... ;)

spurs are killin it even with tim avg 11-12 pts. hard to believe he follows up a near mvp type year with a passive year.

barely a month into the season. still plenty of time for ibaka to step up, or thunder to make some trades.

    Thunder.

Spurs are far too deceptive. Sometimes they look old and sometimes they get blown out at home, but in the playoffs they have a different gear.

    OKC for sure.

    1. The chemistry, coaching, experience of SAS are just too strong to overcome in a best of 7.
    2. We have the PG killer: PB. Hopefully he can take Westbrick out again

I think you need to get your memory checked.

I would much rather the Rox play the Thunder. Whomever faces the Spurs needs to hope that whomever played them prior took them to 7 games. Spurs one great weakness is age.

This years playoffs are going to be exciting for the west. The east, we all know it'll either be the Pacers or the Heat.

Got to make it by the first round first and could possibly have to face both...

I would say first make the playoffs, then worry about who to play.

Or you need to get your memory checked? Game 2 is the game we reverted to zone defense. It worked very very well until Westbrook got injured. We were leading in that game, but once Jackson or Fisher was in the zone gave up 3, and when we switched back Durant lit us up.

Rest of the series we couldn't go back the zone because of Jackson/Fisher = Durant lighting us up

2014 = Even year. The Spurs have no shot. Let them fall to us.
