I'm talking about the kind that comes in its own cut...jsut add water and nuke for about 5 minutes. I had the Marauchan Shrimp Tlapeno, the Marauchan Spicy Chicken, and the Marauchan Creamy Alfredo. I will buy the Creamy Alfredo again.

    What's your favorite.
    Yes I'm Bored.

A friend of mine recommended some from Whole Foods, supposedly not as fatty - any brand names that are relatively non-fatty? Usually I mix in some spinach, hot peppers, garlic, whisk an egg and throw it in there for a full meal.

I used to get the brick packages, not the cup of Ramen and cook them. Then instead of using the little packet of seasoning, I would use Kroger Steak Sauce (A-1 knockoff) on it. Man that was some good eating.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again....if you like Ramen noodles, then you need to go to Hong Kong Market. They have whole sections of the store devoted to these things.

Granted, I can't read the label on most of them, but the flavor is so much better.

    And they're SPICY!

For the entire month of February, I lived on Ramen Creamy Chicken...

    Boil water
    Add Noodles
Cook for 10 minutes (I like to cook the hell out of Ramen, gets rid of a good portion of the starch)
    Strain
Throw back in pot with Lemon Juice and Seasoning
    Add Lemon Pepper seasoning
    Serve

    I love Creamy Chicken...

Dude, I am the king of Ramen noodles. I've had 'em all. Best is Maruchan, 2nd is Smack. I don't see Smack noodles around very much though. Best flavor is "Oriental". I could eat those every day (and I did in college).

Over the period of a week for lunch. I was broke as a joke because it was my sons birthday and I had to cut back on the combo lunches. I guess it's really a moot question seeing as I got paid today!!!

    :D

That is one way to save money. Hard to top the less than a buck (sometimes less than a dime) on those noodle thingies.

    Nile brand Minestrone Soup.

Add hot water and a ton of onions, mustard, hot sauce, and black pepper and enjoy.

I've had one of these everyday for 2 years.

    Forget Ramen...

Call around at various Asian (Vietnamese) grocery stores in Houston and ask if they carry "Mama Noodles". The Pork flavor is probably the best flavor of 'Ramen' style noodles I have had period. It comes in the same style of package as Ramen, but it tastes much, much better. It comes with a packet of spices and chili powder, so you can make it either very hot, or mild. It also comes with sauce that you can put on the noodles afterwards, but I don't use it. It's delicious and costs about the same as Ramen.

No ****. I have that in my house right now.

We buy it in cases. I think they come 25 or 20 in a case. Maybe I'll scan it later for everybody to see the cover of the bag.

Best that I have ever had? I don't know.

I only like Marachaun(sp?). I can't eat any other kind. Chicken and Oriental are the two best....especially combined. :D I can't find many of those kinds other than chicken, oriental, beef, shrimp, or pork.
