OK but who sits? Who plays? What is Ryan Anderson going to bring that TJones and Casspi are not giving the Rockets right now?

I was wondering why would the Cats trade for Asik when they have Al Jefferson? Neither Jefferson nor Asik would be happy coming off the bench.

As a defensive anchor starting caliber center for most of the teams, Asik IMO worth more than MKG, who has not developed enough to meet the expectation.

We have a small rotation right now due to injures and I don't think that will change soon. Both Harden and Parsons have semi-long term injuries that at the very least will limit the their minutes for a good portion of the season. (At least it should if McHale can stop riding them)

Anderson would provide immediate relief. Jones would back up Anderson and Casspi moves over to SF to back up Parsons full time. Once the season is over, we can move one of Casspi/Garcia.

Think Morey could get Hawes and Wroten for Asik and Lin?

I got a good feeling if ASIK is traded in between dec. 15-19th then morey is just setting up another trade before the dealine in feb.

players or picks acquired between 15-19th can still be traded before the feb. deadline

sure Ainge & morey have been in talks, may have been communicated he doesnt want asik but will take Lin/1st round pick/filler for rondo.

Les gives morey the luxury tax go ahead & LEBRON or MELO comes to Houston to join rondo,Howard, harden if they don't win a championship this year.

You should probably do a little reading on how the nba's salary cap structure works.

Like ive been saying the entire time i believe Avery Bradley is traded for the Rockets in a 3 team trade with Asik and Beverely. I mean we talk about it all the time on how teams will play players to increase value. Main core of the team is Parsons, Dwight, Harden, and Lin.

IDK GUYS I THINK WE SHOULD GET AVERY BRADLEY AND I THINK IT WILL HAPPEN

No man, Morey is thinking big. I have a strong feeling McHale/Ainge already have a deal in place for Rondo. We are just waiting for Rondo to return.

    Asik/Lin/Jones/1rd for Rondo/Lee/Olyknx

Know way Boston turns that down!

Remember McHale traded KG to Boston, now it's time for Ainge to return the favor with Rondo.;)

Rox can facilitate Rondo to any team easily in a multi team swap

I already answered this before. I believe Rondo coming to the rockets will inefficient.

Rondo is a talented player but he will be horrible in this system. NOT being able to shoot the 3 not to mention EVEN THE MID RANGE OR FTs is a problem. Rondo had KG, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce around him to shoot. Also i feel like the rockets point guards shoot a good amount of 3 as well. Also why would you want to get rid of a power forward the Rockets finally found who works. Is there really that big of a need at point guard to get rid of our starting 4.

I think he could get Hawes and Wroten for Omer. But for the love of god don't do it Morey.

I'd think the same way if not for the recent Utah radio appearance of Jason freedman. He mentioned how Morey used to have 100 + potential trades lining up before the final call.

Yes Morey is acting like he wants more, and he also very likely had good offers already. So in this scenario, ATLANTA May demand pick on top of Asik before agreeing to straight up trade, but Morey may have better offers than that unless ATL throws in a pick at the end. Some stupid GM may help making that happen

    ^^^THIS^^^

I think the only reason we touch Rondo is for a multi team trade.

I don't understand why some people want rondo here, Rondo's game wouldn't work on this team, he would need to have the ball in his hands throughout the game and take full control of the offense which obviously Harden's role, if we get Rondo then Harden need to adjust his role to spot-up shooter which I don't see that happening.

I would love to keep T.Jones, but as I said before I would only trade him for a star. Rondo is a legit star!

Also why do people keep bringing up shooting with Rondo?

    1. He doesn't shoot a lot to begin with.
    2. He is a great passer/defender/rebounder for his position.
    3. He would be in the same role he was in Boston playing with more talented players Harden/Dwight/Parsons.
