Oh yeah and Ainge owes McHale.

McHale traded KG to Boston, now it's time for Ainge to return the favor.

Rondo is a talented player but he will be horrible in this system. NOT being able to shoot the 3 not to mention EVEN THE MID RANGE OR FTs is a problem. Rondo had KG, Ray Allen, and Paul Pierce around him to shoot. Also i feel like the rockets point guards shoot a good amount of 3 as well. Also why would you want to get rid of a power forward the Rockets finally found who works. Is there really that big of a need at point guard to get rid of our starting 4.

Rondo would improve the team because he would be the primary ball handler instead of Harden ISO.

But having the ball is important for Harden. Im not saying he needs to hog but imagine harden takes the ball to the paint. Defenses will just sag off rondo and pack the paint. With our current point guards, if defense sag off, harden can kick out to them and they have a good chance of making the shoot unlike rondo.

Except you forgot our best offensive weapon is Harden , and he needs the ball in his hand to be effective. Unless Harden can buy into the system and become a running off the ball shooter , which he had no experience of so it needs time for him to adapt to it , till then , yes Rondo would damage the offence.
Rondo also best at running half court offence , totally different to our run and gun style.

Rondo just tore his acl and will likely need a year before hes back to form. Also, his defense is overrated and will likely take a step back after the injury as well.

Deal with it, Harden is our franchise player, our offence will run through him for the next few years. Adding Rondo to this team , basically you're just paying more for someone to do Bev's job , defense and 3s . and who all know how bad Rondo three point shooting.

    False!

He didn't even fully tear his ACL, it was a partial tear smarty pants.

And he doesn't play on his athletic ability, he plays with his skill. Which is passing/defense/rebounding

Rondo is a walking triple double.

My god the basketball knowledge on this forum.SMH

Bev is not even close to Rondo. Can Bev pass like Rondo? Can Bev run a team like Rondo?

You guys should think about the stuff you post before you actually hit the Submit Reply button.

it doesn't matter , our offence is set with Harden as the top dog, and he needs the ball in his hand , Rondo don't fit our system nor Harden game .

Forgive D12 fan... I've read most of his posts and he will always undermine others complaining on their basketball intelligence. He doesn't read properly and put everything in context and just proceed with assuming he has the most knowledge and everybody else who doesn't agree with him below him. Sounds like a troll, isn't he?

It is called building a team. And if Rondo comes for nothing well yeah.... but everyone has a price.

This team already has some flawed players. Shooting is pretty important for this team.
Legit point is he might not like handling the ball with Harden and Parsons.
He had some EGO problems in the past.

That's the best you can do? lol child nowadays . Deal with it, this team will build around Harden , not your D12 , no way Morey will get Rondo to feed Howard and minimize Harden talent.

If the Rockets dump Asik for picks they will be under the cap this season, which means that Les's pocketbook gets lined with ~$14M. That is what I am expecting.

Rondo is not coming to the Rockets. Not only would his acquisition marginalize Harden, it will marginalize Lin as well. And I do not believe a Lin + Asik trade for Rondo is possible. The Celtics are already at the luxury tax threshold and cannot accept back more salary than they trade.
