The Rockets don't play good enough defense to stop this team. The warriors just didn't show up. They can play much better than this.

Parsons was a great add. But I still think defense made the difference between those two pas games. Whenever you have a glaring defensive hole that is hard to cover, that discourages others to make good effort to defend knowing that eventually the opponent will exploit that hole to death.

Everybody did well in defense last night. Keep it up 82x48.

Well, the Splash Bros turned into a leaky faucet.

Great game by the guys. Really enjoying the impact Jones is having and there is no doubt about Parsons contribution to our wins.

Once Lin gets back and D-mo getting more PT, we could be unfathomable! LOL

Harden was gaurding Barnes....I think its been mentioned here before that he guards small forwards better. Maybe he isn't fast enough for shooting guards or maybe this time he showed alot of effort

You're right. The team is on the right track. I hope the Asik trade will bring a team player that gels rapidly with this roster.

PS. Cecil Taylor really talked to himself. It really takes an effort to understand what he is saying to others. Not so with most other improvisers.

Well, we have season tickets, and this friday we were certainly downed by the last two big losses and harden's "performance". Quite a shock to overcome.
Even if we are very happy that this sequence is over, great win!, we are still a bit sceptic about Harden.

Iguodala is a very good all around player, but on offense, he and Barnes are probably equal at this point.

I just remember after last year's playoffs how many people on this site were saying the Warriors were better than the Rockets and Curry was better than Harden etc.

This game feels especially good because they are a possible playoff rival, we play them again in the upcoming week, and because it's egg on the face of those that failed to believe in our Rockets and our players after last year's playoffs. I also like that Harden bounced back from his horrific game against the Suns. That's the signs of a star and franchise player.

This win doesn't prove that the Rockets are a better overall team than the Warriors, nor did last year's playoffs prove that the Warriors were better and had the better players. But in the minds of some who used that flawed logic before, maybe they'll be consistent enough to use it again this time.

    Great win for the Rockets.

Well there is one more game next week :D My guess is GSW will win that one and drop tons of 3's.

Great win for Rockets but I was surprised by how bad the GSW was playing from beginning to the end.

they are missing a lot of scorers. Iggy is not a crazy scorer, but he can slash and play defense. Last year they had Garret Jack who played really well off the bench and carl landry. Not sure how their bench is this year

Yeah, last year team seems to be better than this year. Last night game reminds me of the Nets game.

Must have been painful to watch if you were a GSW fan. Although, if you remove the first quarter, GSW and Rockets played even the rest of the way. Got to admit, at times it was even painful to watch all of our missed layups, sloppy passes and sloppy play. Glad GSW was off this game and we pulled off the win. Loved it everytime Howard nailed his FTs.

I said it before the game but I said it because I thought Parsons wasn't going to play... But Harden spent stretches on both Barnes and Thompson and he also jumped on Curry every now and then... He was all over the freaking place on the defensive end..

The Rockets haven't been shooting their 3's well lately either. But my guess is the Rockets will take them down again. We'll see who's guess is right :)

It wasn't just a case off Golden State being "off". The entire team just played excellent D yesterday.

Harden set the tone early and it rubbed off on the rest.
