ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 12/6/2013

Yeah play a team that's horrible on D, and shooting 29% & the main shooter having a off night with 0 points

 

He's a big game hunter. He just needs to stop spacing out and playing Drew League ball against lower level teams like the other night.

 

James adjusted by going to his midrange game. Pretty explosive midrange. Not trying the 3s tonight.

He also looks chastised. Team probably challenged his pride, if he wants to be a great player, he needs to compete every night. So he's defending finally.

Good for him, good for our team.

 

Rockets just need to keep it up and put this game away in the 3rd period. I think Mark Jackson will throw in the towel if GS can't make a comeback in the 3rd quarter. They have a game against Memphis on Saturday.

 

Yall should remember what I said at the start of this game when people were expecting the Warriors to blow us out.

Rockets only losses are to some bad teams other than the Clippers. They've played some tough teams and have handled some of them...but when they play bad teams it's like night and day difference.

They wake up for these games. Now if only we can get them to play bad teams like they play good teams we'll be fine.

 

There is a reason why he was voted the best SG and ranked the fourth best player in the league. Focused harden is a complete packiage

 

Hrm, I wonder if it's a coincidence that Harden's defensive effort is WAY up tonight?

Viral video, roasted nationally for weeks, announcers calling out his poor defense, threads on Clutchfans, and Morey being asked about Harden's defense on 790 today...

Is it possible, just possible that all the complaining about Harden's lack of effort on defense was a GOOD thing? That putting a spot light on it made it *easier* for the coaches to make Harden accountable?

Is it maybe *possible* that members of Clutchfans complaining about Harden's lack of defensive effort was GOOD for Harden and the team?

Of course, some people would rather that the Fans just be grateful that Harden's on the team at all. They'll make any excuse possible for poor effort, as if his Elite scoring ability makes all sins forgivable...

Given the timing of Harden's sudden improvement in Harden's defensive effort, it sure seems like one heck of a coincidence.

 

I think what Dwight said got to Harden and made him play some defense IMO

 

I like the core of this team. It is clear Chandler Parsons is the glue to this team. He is such a perfect fit with Harden/Dwight.

Once we find out who we get back in the trade for Asik, we can truly judge this team.


Can't wait till Dec. 15th!

 

Parsons is our MVP its so painfully obvious.

 

When they review each game, this must be obvious.

Harden's demeanor tonight - just night and day. Nice to be reminded how much potential the team has when all cylinders are firing.

Crowd really does suck btw. Warriors are in worse of a funk than the Rockets.

 

Dwight is ballin. Keep getting him the ball quick

 

Iggy is their super talented glue guy and they are missing him

Yea, like we don't surrender big leads...

What's scary is that the Warrior shooters can easily heat up and score in a hurry. We need to keep defensive pressure on for four quarters.

Effort seems to be this team's biggest problem, when they really do bring 100% they look amazing. Motivation should not be a problem come playoff time, so I think they truly have a very good chance to do some damage, and with a little bit of luck, they could definitely make a run at the title.
