If the heat had Asik, no one will beat them. We would have no chance.

I can't believe some of you are actually talking about Melo coming here.
Yeah. New York is gonna give up their biggest superstar since Ewing for asik and filler.
    Right.

Even more dillusional. I assure you Morey would most definitely part with asik and Lin for bosh, without a doubt. And 100% guarantee Riley wouldn't "jump on it". Seriously did you just start following the nba?

Or they lose him for nothing just like Cleveland lost Lebron.

Lin can not get rid of Harden in his life?

To be realistic the only way to get bosh is to add Parsons

    Parsons+Asik+Lin = Bosh+miami First Rounder

    Asik
    James
    Parsons
    Wade
    MC

    Howard
    Bosh/TJ
    Garcia/Casspi
    Harden
    Beverly/Brooks

Lin/Asik for Bosh would be best for both teams.

They would take that risk before trading him for Asik.

Getting a lottery pick would be a haul for Morey. A 2014 lottery pick, lottery picks in general are gold. Most likely Asik suitors are either a contender or a fringe playoff team though. With the East so bad, I don't really see a lot of potential trade partners willing to tack on Asik who's a difference maker.

That's way more realistic. Only reason I doubt it would happen is simply because you're talking about the two time defending champs tinkering with their line up in a major way. Miami ain't broke yet

You need to follow the thread more closely. I was making a point that Asik/Lin would fit in Miami when someone said Asik/Lin wouldn't. I should have written at the end that "Morey is interested in beaten the Heats, not making them better." Now, be nice nba expert!

He was clearly our 2nd best player last year, but with Howard onboard, it's just unfortunate that it's probably the best for him and Rockets to part their ways.

Nowadays, you can't really plan for anything long term, especially for players.

it would be totally worth it just to see the future trainwreck of LOF's incessantly blabbing to their new Heat fan compadres about how LeBron needs to defer to Jeremy more.

that is a terrible trade, Morey would never touch that. You are giving Mimai 3 starters and getting one in return who isnt a helluva lot better than the guys you are giving up

Why...??? Miami already have two capable point guards that play good off the ball with LeBron and Wade so don't know why they would want Lin...

And why in da heck would Morey give Miami Asik and pretty much gift wrap the championship for them...???

Portland is another team Morey probably won't send Asik to either... At least he better not...
