But Drewdog is right in the sense that this team seems really awful at the situational hitting stuff that the Angels did so well last year. Productive outs, scoring runners from 3rd with less than 2 outs, stuff like that. It seems like no matter who is up to the plate, if there is a runner on 3rd with fewer than 2 outs, there is maybe a 10% chance they get the runner home. It drives me crazy.

The only time we had that situation last night, was runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out, and Bagwell drove them both home with two-run single.

Our main offensive problems are... lack of guys on-base when our big hitters come up. Biggio would be our best option as a #2 hitter, but we have no other option for a leadoff guy. We need a true leadoff hitter with a high avg. and obp (power is not needed)

I trust Bagwell, Berkman, and Kent's ability to drive those runs home with less than 2 outs. I do not trust Vizcaino/Lugo/Ensberg/Blum's abilities to start a rally when nobody is on base yet.

Man ........Wade Miller out of the game in the 4th.

This is going to be a long season if Oswalt and Miller are going to be inconsistent like they have been.

Bruce Chen sucks and Im proud to say that I was the only one that knew it when we signed him.

I said from the beginning that there is a reason he has been on 5 teams in such a short time period and that the only reason he is in the pros is because he is a lefty. Every day that goes by, my point is hammered home even harder. Holla!

    Yeah it was....

I love the Stros but how the hell do you lose a 3 game series when both Oswalt and Miller pitch, damn.

Man, is anyone disappointed in Julio Lugo this season. What the hell? He is terrible. He looks like he should be playing single A ball. He isn't hitting worth a crap and his judgement in the field is just awful. This guy is playing like he just doesn't give a crap. There's nothing I see in his game that gives me any hope at all.

I thought he used to be pretty good but he has been awful so far this season.

Get it together, Lugo! Right now...I could put a pile of cow dung in your place and noone would know the difference.
