I'm from Minnesota and there's no way Rubio is getting traded. Ever... He is the face of our franchise.

LOL at the irony: - One of the biggest reasons Adelman disliked Morey was because of Rubio. - Adelman didn't want Rubio but now is coaching him. There was one draft day a couple of years ago when Morey summoned Adelman and told him he was going to trade a chunk of his roster for a dazzling European point guard named Ricky Rubio. "He could help us win a championship someday," Morey told him, "but we might win 20 games next season." Adelman was stunned. "Are you trying to get me fired?" he asked.
Did anyone noticed Chandler Parsons' pump fake made it on Lowe's "10 Things"? It's got to be the ugliest and most effective pump fake in the league. Lol. Anyway, not so sure Minnesota is that high on Rubio anymore. If they can upgrade that spot to become a true contending team, I think they would (especially since they have a new GM this season).
Ricky Rubio's passing skills are great... but what good is he if Harden's gonna have the ball in his hands...? :X He sure ain't gonna get passed to for a catch-and-shoot.
He doesn't have a good jump shot but you could argue Rondo is one of the best in the paint among PGs in the NBA.
1. Minny probably won't trade Rubio considering that he and Love are the faces of the franchise. 2. Really, Rubio in this system? The dude has been playing professional basketball since he was 16 and he still can't shoot.
Rubio's the type of player who I love to watch play (especially in a playground game) but who I'd hate to have on this team.
The nicks are sucking..how about t-jones, asik, lin and our first round draft pick for melo? Just a thought.
you don't understand the Rockets history dude. That's what Tracy McGrady normally does, sit in street clothes on a bench.
Brother, one who joined for original reasons, Rubio and Rick Adelman seem like a perfect match. Why would Rick want Jeremy Lin? He operates a motion offense. Plus Rick and Ricky sound dope.
Anything for tinman! http://www.chron.com/sports/rockets/article/Justice-Rockets-Adelman-politely-go-separate-1686888.php
I have to admit. I love Rubio. And despite all the stuff about him not being able to shoot, I have similar feelings about him here as I did with Rondo. Namely I don't care. In fact, I think Rubio has the potential to improve enough as a shooter for our offense to work fine. That said, this is a pointless discussion because... 1. The Wolves are not trading Rubio 2. The Wolves are not trading Rubio 3. The Rockets have heavy organizational PG depth even if Lin's moved with Brooks, Canaan, and Llul. It's also the one position Morey has consistently found gems out of nowhere. 4. Rubio's injury history is scary 5. The Wolves are not trading Rubio
So last year we had a problem. We had a pg next to a ball dominant sg who couldn't make open shots. That pg improved his shot, but even last year he was probably a better shooter than rubio will ever be. Rondo, Rubio, and anyone like them will NOT work next to Harden. When you have a scoring sg you don't need an elite pg, word to Derek Fisher
tony parker couldn't shoot either and now he's one of the best %'s, so maybe he can improve especially if he stays healthy.
