We are a decent team in the NBA and we have some decent players on are squad, but we have way to many power forwards on are team that can be good in this league. Mo Taylor is one of the best offensive PF in the league. Cato is one of the best defensive forwards in the league. Carlos is a well rounded PF and could start for a number of teams. Kenny Thomas also could start for many teams as well.However we cant win with these four guys we need to tradea few of them and maybe walt or shandon for maybe webber or marion. I know yall are thinking that sacremneto ot phoniex would never do it but webber is ptrobably gone at the end of this season so they might as well get some thing and marion would be great on are fast break offensive game. Nope. Webber is not on the block and Marion is not on the block. Only decent players on the market at this time are Mutombo,Houston,Kukoc,and maybe Big Dog.

i agree we need to trade a or couple of pf's for something to work towards next year or the next draft. i don't believe however, as much as i would love it, CWebb will come here. if he goes anywhere, it will be new york IMHO. i'm personally disappointed with mo-tay, but willing to ride out the season if Rudy, Carrol and Les think he's worth seeing the season through. if they don't think so,....i say trade him, before Les's big heart pays him more money than he's worth. i would love to see a trade with orlando for either or both Bo Outlaw and Michael Doleac. hell i would even throw in Jason Collier if the rules would allow it. i think i read here somewhere before that rookie's couldn't be traded until Dec. 15th. hey,...just got back from realgm site and got a trade accepted for a trade with orlando involving mo-tay and Collier in exchange for Michael Doleac and Mike Miller. this would give Carlos more pt behind KT, and of coarse no loss in the five position with Doleac taking Jason spot. Ummmmm.....Cato is our center! Cato is needed at the center for a few years cause with-out him all we have is Collier. We have Kenny, Carlos and Mo at the PF. I honestly dislike both Mo and Kenny because they make the wrong decisions all the time. Mo takes those 20 footers and backs away from the boards. KT makes all the right moves but I think I've only seen one game where he has finished his moves good and it was that game against Portland last year. He also takes too many threes shooting 27% from beyond the arc is disgusting and he jacks up his 2-4 shots for three every night. Sure he grabs some boards and he is not abad defender but I don't see him improving anytime soon so I actually think a Sign & Trade to get Webber next year for KT. Guys, I'd do anything for Antwan Jamison....NO, I'm not just saying this cause of his 51pts and 14reb against Seattle, although it doesn't hurt , but this guys is our answer at PF, and he wants to play PF, but has to play SF cause of Fortson....How about we trade Walt, KT , MO and Bullard for Jamison and Chris Porter? That would be awsome, I dunno how valuable Porter is to them, so I dunno how this would go down...But they'd have a proper SF, a backup, and two backup PFs, Mo can sign elswhere next year..... ------------------

Dice is a good player, but there is tension between he and hakeem. Guys that are on the block or free agents next year that would fit us Webber-30/70 chance of getting him if we pursue it Jamison-50/50 chance of getting him if we pursue it Smith- 75-80/20-25 Williams-80/20 (i think if we really want him there IS a way we can get him) Mo- 60/40(i dont want to give up on hm quite yet, he's still a good scorere )
I don't think we necessarily need a trade right now. I think we just need patience. Next year the Rockets will have a lot of money open up in the salary cap when Olajuwon retires. This team is still young and so far they are doing better than everyone predicted. The Rocks will lose some this year cuz the west is very difficult. Trading is rather difficult. There are a bunch of cheap (rookie contract) players, and other players that truly fit in (ala Walt). Other players are untouchable (Francis, Mobley or Dream) or are FAs next year (Dream, Bullard, Taylor, Anderson, Carlos?) If something had to be done and I'm not convinced that it does (considering KC's coming back in a week)... Kelvin Cato to Miami. Anthony Mason to Houston. Insert a stocking stuffer from Miami, and it should work fine.
