Letting Brooks out there defending Burks, when we needed stops, and our p&r Harden/Howard was killing them offensively, is one of the most weird unguided decisions I've seen from McHale since he is in Houston. I mean.... It was pretty clear what was going to happen. And that's exactly what happened.
Calvin just said Harden played a good game but he played one dimensional. (Paraphrasing) I guess he don't know what he is talking about. LOL
When will Dwight ever shoulder some of the blame? It always seems to fall on Lin, McHale or Harden. Not the most senior player on the team and other MAX "superstar".
Response Harden is, without a doubt, a great offensive player. Even Harden haters have to give him that. But he is a huge liability on D. No ifs and buts.
Anytime we lose a game.. its fire mchale.. he has no heart.. get rid of les.. bench harden.. where's p-pat.. trade howard.. why did we give him this contract.. sign hakeem.. bring back adelman.. trade brooks.. LOF.. harden for 6th man.. bring back the chuck wagon.. etc etc etc Get a grip ClutchFans. Its the NBA. You lose. It happens. Stop putting non-sense on this board.
this happens too often. Too many times are our guys under preparing for teams with lesser records. Even with Parsons and Lin out, we should have been able to win with Harden and Dwight. They're both better than anyone on that roster
Exactly what I said. Don't compete early. Set yourself up for this. Our starters can be friggin lazy at times.
yea a lesson that we've been learning since last season. What a joke this team's defense is. Where the **** was T Jones in the 4th qtr again?
Harden scored 35% of our points and 8 assits. An amazing feat. No other rocket contributed in a truely meaningful way.
See this is where I blame the coach - if guys are being lazy sit their ASS on the bench - that is what a deep team is for. Play guys that are hungry that want to play.... DD
This team can be fun to watch and is playoff caliber, but they are clearly not championship material as presently constructed. Inconsistent defense, no half-court offensive rhythm, and not beating the teams they're supposed to beat. The Rockets are in dire need of a "junkyard dog" on this roster. Time for Morey to go find this team's Mario Elie.
Response Calvin tells it like he sees it. He's usually correct. I like the unselfish playing style of Hayward.
