sorry, I don't know about others but I just simply don't feel this way- about Paul Walker or about the train derailment. when I saw both headlines, I was more concerned for the Metro North folks than I was Paul Walker's family and fans. I see what you mean by that statement.
^^^^ i tried to directly post the song from youtube but it didn't work. good song. the RZA does it again.
Yeah... I apologize to others that came to the thread with good intentions. I started this, but not in a trolling manner. It is concerning to me that more people want to talk to me that I know casually about Paul Walker than more serious issues. Although Paul Walker obviously affected a lot of people in some way, no one knew him any better than these strangers on a train. It's upsetting that celebrity trumps humanity.
Well, to a lot of people, some celebrities almost feel like family members or friends. Many people grew up watching all of Paul Walker’s movies and knowing everything about him. So it’s almost as if a friend has died. So the comparison for me would be like if my friend died completely out of the blue one day, and the Metro accident happened on the same day. I would care a hell of a lot more about my friend than anybody in that accident.
I'm not really sure why this is so hard to understand for people. Most of us are very sad that people died while taking a train somewhere, but most of us have no idea who these people are. We wish they weren't dead and feel sorry for their friends and family, but beyond that, there's no reason for us to feel the same or worse about that than someone we had a connection with, whether it was in person or not.
you're trolling. This thread is about Paul Walker. You go on the train derailment thread and talk about that. That's why we make separate threads. There's no universal, "People who died today thread" you are mad that people are morning him instead of the people on the train. How many people died in the world? tons. People can mourn who they mourn. Paul Walker is a human and you are trivializing his life cause he's a celebrity and not a regular person. The very thing you are arguing about. you can't trivialize one party cause you think the other party is being trivialized. Bobby Brown rule applies, people can mourn who they want to, it's their prerogative.
I used to want a Porsche. I was actually thinking about getting a used one. I kind of don't want one now. I'm afraid I would probably get road rage and do something stupid wrecking it if I had one. I'll stick with my sporty SE Camry. LOL. At least it keeps me in check because it's slow as sh_t.
no it was actually pretty good 2.5-Liter 4-Cylinder DOHC 16-Valve Dual VVT-i; 178 hp @ 6000 rpm; 30 170 lb.-ft. @ 4100 rpm the V6, I didn't try, but it's strong 3.5-Liter V6 DOHC 24-Valve Dual VVT-i; 268 hp @ 6200 rpm; 248 lb.-ft. @ 4700 rpm
So help me understand, the Porsche was speeding while doing donuts and then crash into a tree which completely demolished it completely. Must be one strong tree, is it made out of steel and concrete? My theory is either drag racing/ and or dodging some kind of object/animal/dog whatever which made it swerve all over the place and then boom!!! right into a tree.
