So if we sign Jason Collins we'll win a championship? Paging Morey....at least remove the wiener walls from the locker room.

Agreed. The last time I got this feeling for a Houston sports team was the Astros in the mid 2000s (2003-2007). Those were great seasons overall, and the teams gelled so nicely.

I'm still not completely sold on Howard in terms of personality. He's already done some very noble things for this city, but he still seems a little immature on the court. There are so many plays where he seems lackadaisical, and he has multiple plays where he's thrown the ball into the stands already. However, it's very encouraging to see how much he's been accepted into the locker room. He has great chemistry with nearly everyone on this team already.

I think Parsons and Beverly are the biggest reasons for our team chemistry, as far as players go.

Parsons has charisma and seems to draw people to him.

When Beverly joined last season, I recall him pumping up the bench a lot. He often had them standing up, and everyone just seemed to love him. He brought a lot of energy, life, and heart to this team. He's probably made Asik laugh more than everyone else on the team combined, which is a heck of a feat (lol) considering how reserved big O is in that regard.

It's pretty inspiring. I really hope we can lock up most of our current players for a long time.
