Am I the only one who questions Harden's leadership?

I like Harden and followed him a lot at OKC.

He is not a natural leader. On that team, Westbrook, KD, Perkins and Ibaka all showed more personal leadership than he did. Harden is not the kind of guy that other players naturally gravitate to.

    He leads more by example.

The timing of this thread is awful.

Also says things like "Feels like I'm in Cleveland again." Such a nice guy essentially calling his Miami teammates **** lol.

Harden has frustrated me this season and he frustrated me in this game, but he also showed tonight that the Rox are NOT contenders without him. Period. Still the best player on this team by far.

Once upon a time, I would always avoid GARM after a game I didn't watch if I didn't want to be spoiled. Because I can generally tell if it's a win or a loss from the threads that get started.

    Now? No longer that certain.

Dude, we are a .720 team and will only get better (not just as the year goes on, but as Harden and Dwight's contracts go from year ONE to year four). Do you know when the last time a Houston Rockets' team was over .700? Let alone .600? I have a hard time seeing too many teams have a brighter future than us. Oh, and we have guys that are expendable that could net us some pretty nice rotational (maybe even starters) players or draft picks (Lin/Asik) to go along with every single one (plus a few) of our draft picks.

Our future is so bright I think it is blinding your judgement and causing you to focus on fault instead of potential and reality.

Yelling at a teammate doesn't make you an a-hole.

But since it's Harden, it has to be right?

    This ^

He just took over a huge game with the help from key plays from multiple different team members.

We haven't even played 20 games yet with all the new guys. Before the season started, people were predicting the twin towers experiment would still be going on.

There's a big picture here and lots of threads lately are missing that. We've got threads about Brooks needing to play over Beverley, Harden not being enthusiastic enough about Howard's pregame, and now this stuff.

Again, we're not even 20 games in and we've had injuries for Harden, Parsons, Lin, and Garcia. Ease up, we're winning and every game is another step to forward to figuring out who we are as a team.

Nice guys calm down with age. Even nice guys can get hot when they're inexperienced.

Harden needs to grow as a leader, the team overall needs to grow together - they are young and already this good, just give them time.

    Dumb

The way Harden gets treated here is terrible. I highly doubt other teams fans treat their star the way Harden gets treated here

Hey now... T-Mac was such a great leader that he led every team he has been on to the 2nd round when he was on the bench!

This. I always wonder if any other good young players get as much heat on their own team's fan board as Harden does here. I doubt it.

No they don't because they don't play with jlin. Lol. Somewhat serious even othe rocket message boards and comments on articles rag harden and their almost always Lin fans. It's quite sad because the way he played tonight only Lebron Kobe Durant and maybe wade can do.

He was angry because both Casspi and Garcia play like r****ds sometimes. They both look to be playing like they're more interested in earning their next contract.
