Offense really bogs down when they try to feed Dwight in the post, even worse when Dwight can't finish or ends up turning it over

Props to McHale for getting Pops so riled up. hahaha

Wasn't Pops holding up the inbound, that's why McHale responded in kind? got a crappy LP stream, couldn't tell for sure

Geez, he's not a miracle worker. He's an excellent defensive player. Parker is great, he's going to get his and he got in a rhythm. Lin is Tony Parker in the making, not exactly but has some of the same attributes and maybe will be a bit better defensively.

Dwight is such a bad post-up player. He can't even make an open shot.

Folks really underestimate how hard it is to single guard the elite scoring PG's. You don't stop them with single man coverage.

Doesn't matter who's on them... Lin, Beverley, AB... PG's like Parker, CP3, Curry, etc are going to light them up, pick them off, blow by them, etc. There isn't a PG in the NBA that can really stop the elite offensive PG's in the PnR or even on single man coverage once they get a first step on you.

And SAS is a truly Elite team. You're not going to blow them out and run all over them like the Nets or Atlanta. They're not going to lose their composure, or bend to offensive pressure.

The only way you beat the Spurs is outplay them. It's that simple.

The Spurs are the Borg of Basketball. They don't stop, they don't quit, they don't lose focus, and they execute as well on both ends of the floor as any team in the NBA.

I wouldn't feel safe against the Spurs without at least a 30+ point lead. And even then, not unless it was late in the 3rd quarter.

    Harden is easing back

I like how harden is easing back when the team is doing well.i don't see him forcing much at all which is good. Hope the team can go on another run, and maybe harden goes on fire. We need harden or d12 to play well to win these type of games.

Bevs gotta bring it defensively or run with Brooks. He's been great offensively.

We'd better hold off the Spurs in the 2nd half.

HOLY CRAP. That is amazing. Lin goes down and so do turnovers? J/k.

    Hope they keep it up.

That damn Tony Parker. I'm doubtful his ankle was even hurt... Pop was probably just resting him for tonight. He is lighting Bev the hell up, and it's gonna take more than one person to stop him. But he MUST be stopped.

Hard to believe AB only has 3 points. It feels like so much more.

I should've known better than to get too excited too early. Regrounding my expectations for the 2nd half. Sigh.
