They need Harden to play him tonight. If he starts playing tomorrow after a long lay off he will most likely be sluggish. Better to get him going now and get him back in the flow of things than waiting until tomorrow against the Spurs. At least if he has some sluggishness it's against the Nets so what better time to get that out of his system! Against the Spurs we need him rocking on all cylinders, so probably a smart thing to start playing him today.
@Jonathan_Feigen: I don't know when Harden/Rockets will admit it, but I will. He's playing. I guess there's a game-time decision to make still. Looks ready.
Better to let his damn foot heal. If he spends the whole week chucking terrible shots and then has to sit out more games, this is pointless.
I hope this is a warm up game for Harden so he doesn't jump into tomorrow after a long lay off. Don't let him play 35+ minutes.
Jason Terry is going to throw up lobs from his hotel room window for threes. Any ball he puts up in Houston goes in.
I think itll be fine because the rockets were playing well offensively before he went down. If the ball movement stalls after Harden returns, I hope McHale has the balls to talk to Harden and run more plays through brooks or bev.
Uhh, you want to win the easy games and leave the hard games for uncertainties in the season. We have a better chance against Nets than we have against SPURS. So we definitely want to play Harden tonight if he can play.
